'Why is this happening' Reina thought to herself as she stiffly sat in Fang's lap as she waited for her meal to arrive, listening to her rambling about various customers that she had encountered throughout the day.
"I can't believe that woman had the nerve to complain to me about the quality of her meal, I only tell the staff what to cook! Why am I the one being yelled at?" Fang grumbled into Reina's ear, causing her to stiffen even further.
"E-excuse me Fang, but... why am I in your lap?"
Fang hummed softly in her ear, "Do you hate it?"
"Rather then hate, isn't it uncomfortable?"
"Nope! and if you don't hate it, then I'm not letting you go~"
Reina sat there in defeat, trying her best to relax her body in this unbelievable situation
'At least this is better then the chair, her thighs are soft, and her hand on my head is soft- eh?'
"Fang?"
"Hmm?"
"Why are you stroking my head?"
"Because your hair is soft?" Reina glanced up at those words, seeing Fang's expression that was wondering why she asked such an obvious question, Reina sighed again.
After what felt like hours Reina finally saw someone bringing her meal to her table, she eagerly sat up and cut a piece of the rabbit. Reina took a bite and her eyes widened as she let out a moan of satisfaction and kicked her feet in joy.
"Delicious!!!" Reina was so overwhelmed by the flavor she didn't mind Fang's arms tightening once again as she stroked her head.
"...Cute"
Fang watched the little sheep devour the rabbit, filling her mouth to the point her cheeks were bulging. Sighing, she ruffled the girls hair. "The rabbit is already dead you know, it's not going to run away, take your time".
"But it's so good!"
"Just come here tomorrow then, you aren't going anywhere are you?"
Reina's face froze, coughing a couple times she answered "I...um... I-I'm going to leave soon..."
"Oh? where are you going?"
"N-nowhere importa-geh!" The arms wrapped around her began to rapidly strengthen, as Fang kept the same smiling face and hummed.
"Don't lie to your big sister ok?"
"When did you become my -" The arms began to exert even greater force on her body, to the point she was afraid of popping and more importantly, losing the delicious rabbit she just ate. A cold sweat appeared on her forehead and she fervently tried to appease her new sibling.
"I'm sorry big sister! I'm so sorry! please show mercy on your little sister! I'm really going to pop if you squeeze any tighter sister ahhhh!"
Reina sighed in relief when the pressure on her stomach went from a mountain pressing down on her to a doting embrace from her new elder sister.
"So? where are you going?"
"Acacia"
"The capital city? What for?"
"I want to join the academy there, it's my dream to go on adventures and freely explore the Flower continent, finding hidden ruins and claiming ancient treasures!" Reina was looking up at Fang with a shine in her eyes as she excitedly announced her hearts desire. She silently added her most fervent wish as she looked into Fangs eyes '...and get away from the cult who placed a daemon inside me'. Suncup had quite a few bases where the Daemon Cult gathered to exchange information or gain funds, the brothels that dot the continent conveniently fulfill both of these rolls. There are brothels in Acacia, but the influence of the cult is severely diminished compared to other cities, so Reina wanted to head there right away and enroll into the academy, ensuring her safety completely.
Fang hummed in response, "Well, here's some good news, your big sister has a restaurant located there that I tend to visit, so you can still see me whenever you want~"
"Huh? aren't you the hostess?"
"Do you think they'd let me sit you on my lap for the past hour if I was? No, I'm the owner!"
Reina was stunned, but quickly thinking it over was irritated that she had thought such a willful woman could simply be the hostess. But the thought of being able to see Fang again did make her happy, she didn't have any friends other then her sister. Though now hadn't she become a girl whose only friends were her family members? That's too sad! Shaking her head, Reina made the decision to make one hundred friends at the academy, 10 for every year she had spent friendless!
Looking up at Fang again, she said "I'm happy I'll get to see you again..." her voice had faded into a whisper as she turned her head away, trying to hide her blushing face.
'Ah, so cute' Fang thought to herself, smiling down at the girl, she said "Since my little sister wants to travel the world, allow me to give you a gift, a jade bracelet with the engraving of a boar appeared in her hand.
"Here, take it. Know that if you are ever in trouble and need protection, show this to the staff of any of my restaurants that you come across and they'll protect you". Reina took the bracelet with a dumb expression on her face, she had never expected that a simple dinner trip would result in being forced to gain a big shot sibling. She looked at Fang with a big smile.
"Thank you sister, I'll cherish it".
Fang hummed in response, "put it on, let me see how it looks on you"
Reina nodded in response and slid it onto her left hand, holding it up to admire the brilliant green contrasting against her white skin.
[Take it off!] Shadow's voice suddenly erupted in her conscious
"eh?!" Reina started to try to slide it off when her hand was caught by Fang
"Why are you trying to take off my gift Reina, it looks amazing on you, and it holds all my love for you ok? You can never take it off, don't ever think about removing it" Fang cheerfully said while increasing the pressure of her embrace.
"o-okay big sister, I'll never remove it! Not even when i die, so calm down or I'll really pop!!" Reina desperately cried out as the familiar sensation of a mountain crushing her came back.
"Hmph! Good, it's late anyways, so go on and run home, unless you want to come home with me?" Reina shivered as she scurried out of Fang's arms, "That's okay big sister, I'll head home now, I'll see you tomorrow" she called out as she ran out of the restaurant.
Fang watched her almost trip over her feet with a smirk on her face.
"Master"
Fang looked up to see the man who had served Reina her rabbit earlier
"It's been a while since I've seen you be so intimate with another person"
Fang scoffed, "I had no choice, the girl walked in here reeking of blood, I had to smoother her to hide it else she run into trouble on the way home".
'Even if she does get into trouble...' Fang rubbed her ear with a smile as she recalled Reina's face when she had nibbled on her, too embarrassed to recognize what she did. 'I'll know, and swoop in to save my beloved "little sister", after all, we're the same'
