Tima got out of bed and walked out of his house which was just a tiny wooden hut, a standard in this small clan, and walked to the direction of a crowd that was forming in the awakening altar as he knew that where a crowd would form on this day, would be the place of his awakening.
As he stepped on the altar, with 8 other children, many cheers and boos echoed in the alters hall.
Suddenly, a voice resounded throughout the hall. "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to announce that today, we will be witnessing Matthew, our top genius, rise to prominence after the awakening!"
He spoke in an excited tone through a speaking projection artifact that looked like a crystal.
"Hey, did you hear, Matthew is this clan's greatest genius, it's said that he has a talent level of 56!"
"Right, it is said that it is very infrequent for even those in medium-sized clans."
"That is true, but in those large clans, 56 is very average, I still can't believe they say that!"
Instantly when Matthew's name was announced chatters of information like this permeated the air.
"Ok, that's enough," and instantly the noises became silenced "now we will begin with Matthew, and work our way down to our 9th person, Tima"
Matthew, who was feeling smug about himself looked at his peers and smiled.
"No one is going to beat me." he thought silently.
