In the world of cultivation nothing is certain....dragons fall and mice thrive
, seas boil and fire freezes . It is a magical and dangerous world that is held in balance only by the 'Dao', the great equaliser, but it's anything but equal.

Cultivators roam the lands, monsters terrorise them, and dragons rule over them...in the meantime common folk suffer. Feng Jian is one of those commoners, but he isn't 'common' by any means as he has something that shouldn't exist in this world...a smartphone.

Soul_Cultivation

Writing a review since I left a ton of comments figured I would give an overall evaluation. I like the idea of a smartphone being used in cultivation and was enjoying the beginning of the story with the MC exploring the various capabilities and increasing his knowledge about the world and his skills. He quickly got to using his phones capabilities to enhance his daily life and practice. Then it all went out the window by bringing in this terribly unlikeable nun. This nun then draws more trouble to the MC while claiming benevolence and good intentions. The MC despite getting bamboozled, coerced, and spoken down to decides that he's going to join the organization of the nun. Then we have the cliche scene of the only remaining family member/loved one being separated under the false pretense of protection. But really it feels like it was done more so that the MC would not have attachments and could be a good little slave boy for the monks. I really want to give this a chance and like the story. But I absolutely detest all of the cultivators that were introduced in the past few chapters. Just ended up ruining the potential for me since the weak MC is just going to be exploited and unnecessary trouble was brought his way that will now be milked for word count over the next 100 chapters.
