Chapter 9: My First Authority Part 2 (Rewriten)
-Orath Pov-
"H-he's dead" I muttered.
His body was hung up on the wall like a fucking trophy and instead of feeling remorse or sympathy for the kid, the crowd just laughed and roared in enjoyment.
I didn't even want this to happen in the first place, the damn Chieftain said it was something about an 'almighty prophecy' General Rosa told him about that has to be fulfilled for the sake of the universe.
Along with some other 'future candidate' bullshit, all of it sounds like a ruse they made up to get my successor killed because he's too powerful.
He was only 9 years old, just imagine the man he would have become if he wasn't killed.
I swear when I get my hands on Jade he will pay for this treason against my honour.
-General Merlin Pov-
The boy died and I'm not surprised. He should have never challenged a great powerhouse like me, Merlin Takahashi, the greatest Lightning bender the world has ever seen, second only to the Thunder nomads to the east and the fire nation royals.
After his burial I should spit on his grave for disrespecting a man like me, heck I'll just throw his body into a pile of horse shit so he feels at home.
Damn bra- *cough cough cough*
"General Merlin, are you alright?" one of my guards said.
"I'm fine, step away" I replied.
Does he not feel this pressure, he must be too weak to sense it, that's the only logical explanation i can think of.
But where is it coming from. I looked around the arena but nothing seemed peculiar until I saw it.
The boy was standing up.
-Officer Jade Pov-
What the hell is going on, I just murdered the boy how is he standing up. Those eyes as well, why is chi gathering around them, are they fucking glowing?
Yeah ima just snap his neck. I'm not taking any chances with whatever the hell that shit is.
I raised my hand to do so but nothing happened, that new power he has must be making him immune.
"JADE RUN!" Merlin cried out but it was too late.
Before I could think of what to do next I was slammed into the ground by some sort of external pressure, my arms, body and even my chi were being held down by this force which is bad.
I'm practically immortal since you can only truly damage me by attacking my soul. But this weight was affecting even that. I need to finish this fast before any permanent damage is done.

-Narrator Pov-
A Lamb to the slaughter.
Sheeps attempting to free from the matrix.
Jade against Aurulies.
Trying to dodge your mom's belt.
Do you know what all of these have in common?
Resistance, attempting to break free or running for your dear life is futile when the force you are opposing is absolute.
If you were to travel into the western hemisphere of the earth kingdom further west than Omashu and underneath a certain mountain you would see a bloodbath about to take place, hundreds of people are about to witness it so how about I explain it to you readers.
Currently a man is being beaten to death by a child.
ok lemme rephrase that.
A man is getting pounded by a k-ffs I knew this narrator shit isnt good for me.
Anyway.
Punch after punch, shock wave after shock wave, hole after hole the man (Jade) was regenerating and healing trying to stay alive but his death was inevitable, each punch tore a piece of the man's soul off slowly and painfully erasing him from existence, but the child however didn't want this to be quick no no no he wanted the man to suffer for the pain he caused.
After raising his hand Jade flew up into the air and after smiling the boy closed his hand.
The scene that unfolded was absolutely horrific.
An amalgamation of what previously was a man was levitating in front of the crowd. A grown man compressed into a tennis ball sized sphere of minced meat. What made it worse was that the flesh 'attempted' to regenerate and every now and then bones would spike out just to be compressed back into place.
After 30 or so seconds of this brutal torture the boy walked towards the wall and pulled out a spear he previously threw into the wall. A golden energy radiated from the weapon as it was infused with the boys Chi and within an instant.
*Swoosh*
Using a horizontal slash the child cut the sphere in half which resulted in the man's soul being destroyed.
The battle was over.
After his victory the boy collapsed in exhaustion from overusing his power but before this managed to throw a thumbs up at his 'friend', Orath.

-Aurelius Pov-
-Location: Mind Scape-
"Is that you Wuji" I asked sensing the familiar presence.
"Indeed," The ancient spirit said revealing its location.
Turning around I was absolutely astonished by the appearance of the ancient spirit, it 'stood' at hundreds of meters tall and looked awfully familiar
Unlike our last conversation I could fully see the spirit in front of me, he looked identical to Vaatu and Raava but instead of the Black or white with blue or red he was dark grey in colour with radiant glowing gold marks across his 'body'.
"What was that power you gave me"
"It was our equivalent of the avatar state, you have awakened the system that the God of this section of the omniverse has bestowed you with, I believe he sent a messenger with the appearance of a Frog correct?"
"How do you know this and why would you only tell me now, also what happened to me needing to free you first"
I was genuinely puzzled about how he found out about this, was he also reincarnated?
This also led to the question of why would i need to free him if i already attained the power meant for me
"As One of the first primordial spirits I have met Vastly powerful beings and the frog was apparently a disciple of the supposed God of this section of the omniverse, besides that the system you have received seems is directly bonded to my soul and awakening it has deepened our connection."
"As for why you need to free me think of it like this, we are separated, disconnected, incomplete. If you were to die you would not be able to reincarnate. Excluding this you also lack other spiritual bonuses merging with me would have. Me and you are eternally connected, however the strength of this connection depends on what you decide to do"
I'm not too surprised by this explanation, an ancient spirit randomly having access to my mind scape as if it was his own means that we are bonded in some metaphysical sort of way. However this just leads to more wuestions that will have to be answered later.
"So what now?"
"Check the system of course"
After a few minutes of struggle i finally found out the words to say.
"Stats"
