Chapter 46: ALL HE EVER WANTED

*AZAZEL'S POV*

"Is something on your mind?" I asked Celestine who was staring at the bedroom ceiling. This is now the third time today where I caught her lost in her thoughts. It took her a couple of seconds before she could even respond to me.

"N... nothing really. It's just that.. I am not hating this at all."

"What do you mean?"

"I don't hate being with you right now - lying on the bed together and having this small talk... I don't.. dislike it." She responded slowly and softly.

I totally understood what she is tying to say. We have been at each other's neck, fighting over Sophia.. but I found peace at last. Never thought I will feel this way again even after turning myself to the dark side. Everything I did was because of them and now, finally I have my family in arms reach.
