i sighed as I lay down on my bed, we sadly got back home and as we did,I saw how fast the media change a hero into a failure.
ok the newspaper was the photo of Flash upside down as he was groaning in pain , Flash falter, is what it read in big bold letters
Seriously,people are fickle,I threw away the newspaper and got up,I went towards my mother room and after making sure that everything was fine, and that she was sleeping,I jumped down from the window. and ran away,
it was time I did some work as well,I am sure that the crime will be at high , since Flash did get his ass handed to him, he must be feeling down
and as I expected,I found some plthugs doing petty crimes in the dead of the night,I don't have a hero costume so I am using a Flash we love you shirt and a mask to hide my identity.
I walked toward the two thugs as they were rattling a young teen who looked scared as shit.
"Please I don't have anything else,I swear,I keep my money in PayPal"
"You trynna fool us, my buddy here saw you get a chance for a hundred dollars, you wanna get a scar, huh," the thing said as he put the knife dangerously close to the boy's eyes.
I would have been scared shitless if it was me, "Let the boy go, you dumbass!" I hollered at the man as he was too stunned looking at me before the bastard broke out into a fit of laughter
I couldn't help but grow angry, not angry, just annoyed at the fact that I wasn't being taken seriously, but I guess I was the one that wanted to go out in a costume that wouldn't bring anything back to me,
"oh yeah! and what you gonna do, Listen, Kid! this ain't your play, go away before I decide I wanna get more cash alright" he said as he waved his knife around,
I shook my head, this was about to get the beating of his life.
I ran towards the thug and aimed a punch that sent him flying like a ragdoll, I made sure to not kill him but also deliver such a blow that he feels like he is dying.
The other thug quickly put his hands in his pants, taking out a gun, before he even had the time to pull the trigger, the barrel of the gun got cut into two as I brandished my soul weapon, Itetsu.
"F-fuck!" I knocked him out the same way,
I went toward the thief's and got the money that they stole, giving it to the guy who was the same height as me, Although Darwin was fourteen by now, his height and body were that of a twenty or so years old
Probably a change brought about due to me inheriting the will of Ikki Kurogane who was built like a lean swimmer with a sturdy body and an innocent face.
The guy flinched and close his eyes, I chuckled at that, I guess I am some kind of a weirdo in his eyes, whatever.
I took his hand and put the money in it, giving him a shoulder pat I ran and jumped between the buildings, smoothly climbing them and running away.
My night went like that,I guess the criminals thought that today was a go get it done day or something as their resident hero was busy fighting another mess.
I got enough training as I even had to slice apart guns and stuff and dodge some idiots who had guns in their hands,all in all, by the next day, the news was filled with questions , Speculating if I was another Meta or a fan of Flash as I had on his Flash Day shirt.
I felt my Will increasing as I solved crimes, saving people,I guess I was inline with Ikki's principle or this was just how fast my first Will was going to be.
Though the next day came and I had to leave for school, Ughh!
As I went ahead and sat in my seat, a hand slammed on my desk,I looked up curiously and saw a fatass looking at me with stink eyes
"Yes?"
