Chapter 19: Let's Train
"..wasn't this too easy?"
Looking down at the grotesque figure of the mirror curse Yuuya muttered to himself. Just a few brute moves coated with curse energy was all it took for him to defeat this curse.
'I mean looking at my stats and the overpowered character I possessed I think it's fairly reasonable for this fight to end like this.. but'
Looking down at the curse whose body was cut into numerous pieces but still alive wriggling under Yuuya's foot, impaled with Yuuya's sword at its chest, Yuuya felt a sense of disappointment after all this was considered his first true battle where he took down the opponent with his own abilities and not by the use of the overpowered weapons in his possession or any kind of barrier to protect him from.
As Yuuya looked down at the curse he frowned lightly and the sense of disappointment quickly disappeared and a new sense of curiosity appeared in his mind.
'If I ain't wrong the curses are made up of curse energy and easily regenerate and heal themselves.. then what's up with him?'
The mirror curse has all of its limbs severed and various cuts on himself which were glowing with a faint crimson color.. in the normal sense, the curse should have regenerated by now but why isn't this one healing?
Is he different from other curses? Or is it that his knowledge of this world lacking? Or is this another kind of JJK world where curses couldn't regenerate themselves?
A lot of questions appeared in Yuuya's mind before he perceived the flow of curse energy in the curse's body..
'He is clearly sending his curse energy towards his wounds.. and those wounds are regenerating too? But at a slow rate.. so is this it that the regeneration is just slow or..'
Yuuya focused on the wounds of groaning curses where he could see the red color due to his attacks was slowly fading away and slowly the rate of regeneration was increasing as the color faded.
'My curse energy is slowing the regeneration of curse?.. or is there more'
Yuuya thought with interest as he looked down at screeching curses and its grotesque figure before firmly holding the hilt of the sword and channeling vast amounts of curse energy through..
"I guess we just need to find out.."
"AAARRGH"

The process of finding out more about his curse energy's characteristics lasted nothing more than three hours which stopped due to the sudden death of the curses after Yuuya went too hard on its torture.. cough I mean experiments.
Through his experimentations Yuuya concluded the following things about his unique curse energy's characteristics..
First of all, the damage inflicted by Yuuya's attack slows the rate of regeneration of curses and to overcome it the curses would need to compensate by supplying large amounts of curse energy to remove the defects of the attack.
Second, the curse energy of Yuuya has a kind of devouring or more like a negation effect which cancels out curse energy of others and eats the curse's energy itself.. in simpler terms Yuuya can use his curse energy to eat away the energy of his opponent in a way negate the curse energy and its effect.
Though for negation Yuuya has to provide more amount of curse energy than the opponents for it to take effect.
If he uses his curse energy on the curses, the curse will start to corrode and decay even when exposed to small amounts of Yuuya's curse energy.
"Dang! That's overpowered!"
Yuuya couldn't help but imagine all sorts of ways he could use this ability and just wondered how overpowered his start is..
'I mean I now have all the artifacts of the original Yuuya, talents of Yuuya and now this extra ability too in this world of curses which has a great advantage over the majority of sorcerors..'
"But then also I wonder if it is enough to take down Sukuna?..."
This is the biggest dilemma of Yuuya.. the mission to kill Sukuna...
"If it wasn't the condition of to take on the full-powered Sukuna I wouldn't have been so tensed about it.."
Yeah if it was just to kill Sukuna he could just have killed Yuji once he was possessed by Sukuna during the start of the show and later have destroyed his corpse and fingers one by one after finding some way to do it and could have completed the mission but.. full powered Sukuna is just a fucking beast..
Looking at the destroyed room after his battle with the mirror curse Yuuya sighed and shook his head
"....well let's just think about it later"
There is probably a month or so before the plot starts and for the appearance of Sukuna there is probably a year left so instead of pondering about facing Sukuna he should first focus on getting stronger.
With this thought he left the building and resumed his daily life and started his first training arc where he rarely left the house and spent most of his time in the another world hunting monsters and learning the techniques left behind by Tenjou Kuuya like cursed balls, cursed chains, cursed arrows, cursed shields and many other techniques which were created by Tenjou Kuuya himself and learnt more about curse energy and its application.
With the money conversion feature of the gate, he didn't have to worry about lacking money and has completely ignored the school and focuses solely on getting stronger unlike the original Yuuya who, you know, did Yuuya things and never actively tried to actually get stronger if not for persuasion by others and for when tensed situation arrives.
But unlike the original, Yuuya tried to get the most out of his potential and worked hard to get stronger.. this went by normally for a whole month before two annoying pigs knocked on their slaughterer's door.

Hey guys! I hope you liked this chapter.. it's been a long time since I have last wrote so quality might be a little bad but then also I hope it was enjoyable for you all. Ah and by the way I don't think I would be continuing the story much I mean it's been a long time since I had decided to write this and now I think that I am unable to imagine the scenarios properly so I might just drop this fic or maybe just update it very slow? Well anyways I just wanted to confess that I might drop this fic and instead would focus on my original novel which I might release today My Novel Like Reality so yeah when it releases I hope you all would love it though I might have to ask for vote of which of the previous ideas of mine should I go with (please visit the previous chapter to know about it)
