Chapter 34: Life Issues And A Jean Chp 32
#THREE DAYS LATER#
It was Tuesday it has been three days since I got my Adamantine unfortunately it cannot be expanded by the Pym Particles. Even if I wanted to it just won't happen for whatever reason.
"You have been spacing out a lot," Said Jean we were in the cafeteria at school
"Yeah, just a few things I am struggling with," I said
"You could tell you know," She said looking a bit to the side while pouting a bit.
"I know but we are at school someone could overhear us and I would like to tell you outside of my mind," I said giving her an "are you a serious look"
"Ok, fine then keep your secrets," she said while laughing a bit.
I introduced her to the wonders of memes and thankfully lord of the rings existed here.
"I promise ill tell you, later on, ok," I said trying not to laugh myself.
"You better Aiden," she said the last part quietly
I decided not to rip off Clark Kent so much. I decided to come up with my own name which in all honesty was a bad idea when I felt my dimension link over to my new Kryptonian name Van-El. My Earth name I decided would be Aiden Kent keeping the last name to give homage to Kal-El.
I noticed Peter coming over to us looking dejected. I shared a look with Jean knowing what it most likely was about.
"Hi, Peter how are you doing," I said trying to get him to talk since his Parker pride keeps him from telling us his problems.
"I am fine, I am just tired," He said actually sounding tired.
I know he hasn't had to deal with a group like the Sinister Six yet. I have been keeping an eye on him he has only been Spider-Man for 3 months. But the number of enemies he makes are powerful like the Inheritors. I don't know much about them but if they arrive for him I will help him.
They might give me a way around the multiverse.
"Peter we are your friends you can tell us what is troubling you," Jean said softly but with an edge in her voice.
"I am trying to find a job to help Aunt May with the bills," He said dejectedly
"But I haven't been able to find anything," He continued
(Maybe I can hire him, I do intend to have a scientific branch of my company maybe I can put him in charge when he is old enough. For now, maybe giving him a nudge in the right direction I can have him work at one of the warehouses I own to get started there.) I thought to myself.
"Hey, I know that there is a new company starting up is called El Metal's and I know that one of the were houses is looking for people to hire maybe try your luck there," I said
I am actually trying to help him. I know what he can do with old technology heck his desktop is 3 years old and it works like one from 2018. Imagine giving him resources and time to get better. I know that Superior Spider-Man did a lot of things that he thought were good but in the end, his ideas and Parker Industries crumbled.
"Maybe, I'll check it out." He said sounding hopeful that might get a job, which he will.
Jean turned to look at me as I heard her voice in my head.
("What are you planning") She said to me mentally while looking at me suspiciously
("I am helping him get a job") I responded
"Peter, why are you trying so hard it can't be just the bills your aunt has to pay," I said to him curiously as he hasn't started selling pictures of Spider-Man.
"No you are right we have to pay for Uncle Ben's hospital bills during his stay as well as paying the debts from his funeral and grave they are just too much for us," He said in a tired voice.
I made sure to close my connection to Jean.
(So maybe they didn't get a loan from the bank. I don't know if they did get one in the comics.) I thought to myself
"Hopefully everything goes well...
"Hey Penis Parker," An annoying voice interrupted me
The three of us let out a sigh at Flash Thompson.
(Seriously the guy is poor and he spends his time annoying us when he should be helping his family) I thought extremely annoyed at him but not angry. Then I thought of something and stood up
"That's enough Eugene," I told him when he reached us.
He began to get angry at me saying his first. His dad passed away on duty from a mugger he was a police officer.
His mom works a part-time job even his sister does her part making bracelets and necklaces that you find someone selling on the street and they are actually pretty nice. While he freeloads of them both, he did manage to get a part-time job for a time before he quit.
"What did you just call me?" He said angrily
"I said your name Eugene, are you freeloading enough from your mom and little sister that you use their hard-earned money for yourselves without giving back," I told him with no emotion on my voice
He looked shocked at what I said and I just back down as he began to leave with a weird look on his face.
Jean and Peter both stared at me
"What he had it coming," I told them not caring about him. He does not have any abilities and he is too young. Peter hasn't even seen a symbiote yet, so no Agent Venom.
After we had finished eating in silence we went to our next classes we didn't have the last two classes together so went to our separate classes.
When I reached mine I sat at the back to not draw attention to myself I am sure the whole school already knows about what I said to Flash now.
As the class started the professor announced that we have a new student.
"Hello class as you can see he have a new student with us today I am going to let her introduce herself, come in now," Said the professor
As he finished saying that I saw an attractive platinum blonde hair girl with green eyes and a mischievous smirk on her face.
"Hello everyone my name is Felicia Hardy," She introduced herself and as she did I had a thought on my mind

School ended for the day and I was heading over to my apartment to check on the progress of the ship. When I thought to maybe look ever and test how far I can see and tried to see the general area of where it was being built in space. I couldn't see that far yet but I could see the moon heck I could even see the craters on it.
A few moments later I arrived and went up the elevator. It is nice to go slow for a bit. I finally reached it and went inside. I began to boot up my new computer which in all honesty I even made a Vibranium desk for it in order to not leave a mark on a new one. It was a desktop that detected both my DNA and Soul signatures to properly use it.
I looked at the progress of the ship and saw that it was barely going to begin. I sighed heavily since I went completely overboard on it. I am sure that when it is finished it could even survive a supernova easily with its shields.
I looked over at an area that constantly receives sunlight during the day and saw the Sunstone Crystals I made to absorb yellow sunlight I could use them as boosters or in an emergency if Knull arrives as he did in the king in black event.
I have one connected to an Arc Reactor to absorb the energy. I tried absorbing it but it didn't give me any new abilities that I am aware of. I am also having different weapons made like Sunstone guns for vampires which I am sure is going to be very efficient. Superman in the comics rarely uses equipment and when he does it is always overpowered.
I am also going to be making some magical throwing knives that will return to me after a few seconds after it hits the target. My new Adamantine weapon is a bit weird. Since it appears to have taken characteristics from me. I asked the Ancient One if anything happened to the god Neptune he is dead. He was killed by Gorr before he was stopped by Thor.
I completely forgot about Gorr I have to make plans to kill him and get rid of the All-Black. I am not going to try to become its new master since I am a Kryptonian and I have no idea how it would react to me.
I did try to make a nano-bot suit and weapons but they are just more trouble than they are worth many of the species recorded showed that after a while one of them will get a high chance to malfunction and then cause a cascade of failures.
Don't get me wrong I already have access to them but the weakness of certain magnetic frequencies can make them obsolete. As far as I know in DC they are mostly used for construction and in medicine to get rid of viruses or other ailments. I will make them when I figure out how to get rid of its weaknesses.
Back to my weapon I can make change the shape to whatever I want. I have it on me as a gold band on my wrist. I can call it out mentally and get either a trident, sword or even a shield. It can even adapt to certain effects I put it in the Phantom Zone and I panicked when I noticed it was becoming immaterial and got it out and it was fine.
Curious and very scared of losing it I sent it back and when it became fully immaterial I felt it. I could now call it back and forth from it when I realized this it began to become material again. I could also channel my magic through it.
I could send a blast of energy from it. Crimson energy was the most destructive as it sent out an energy blast that would have destroyed the area I was in if I didn't send the energy back to my dimension as I noticed it was breaking the atoms in the air.
So capable of nuclear explosions is OP in it of itself. The Speedforce energy was even more versatile as I could unleash bolts of energy like lightning which I figured out is essentially made from a high amount of static shocks. I could also electrify the metal in it for an added effect. I even had added protection against mental attacks.
Now you may be wondering if you already have immunity for them from TOAA why do you keep getting stuff to enhance it even further the answer is you can never be too prepared a lesson from Batman.
Too many beings have been said to be immune to something in the comics only for it to backfire. Even gods bleed and if they bleed they can die. I also received added magical resistance even though my adaptation can take care of it after some time.
The best part of it is that it has its own magical core based on my own which makes even more energy for my dimension. It also means that with connection to the speed force I may even be able to call it across time and space if the need arises.
I began to think of a name for it since I haven't been able to think of one when I received a phone call from Jean
"She is going to chew me out isn't she," I said to myself with a sigh it was already dark since I arrived at my apartment a few hours ago.
I answered and heard a few whimpers
"Yes, Jean do you need anything," I said a beginning to grow concerned over her.
"Can you please come for me something happened," she responded with a sob at the end.
I quickly put on my suit and weapons at the ready and went flying over to her house. Before I remembered I can open portals and opened one mid-air. I saw her crying softly at the corner of the street near her house thankfully there didn't seem to be anyone. I went over to her and saw she had some luggage around her.
When she noticed me near her stood up and hugged me while crying a bit more heavily.
"Jean what happened," I asked her concerned over her
"My parents learned about me being a mutant when I saved my dad from falling from the second floor fixing some lights in the backyard," She said while crying
"My dad told my mom and together they told me to pack up and leave since they didn't want to have a freak in their home," She said full out sobbing now
"I didn't know who else to call," she said
I opened another portal to my apartment making sure no one was looking at us and I looped the images from the street cameras to make it seem we were never here with my phone which was custom made by me. I sent her luggage over and I began to hold her a bit tighter now and slowly flew us to my apartment through the portal.
I set us down over to a sofa and sat down with her on my lap sideways as she curled up into a ball as she cried herself to sleep...
