Chapter 7: Chapter 6: Dinner and talk

As I opened the door I smiled lightly and put a friendly expression on my face that the two sisters weird, because they could perceive a fatherly aura from it.
'They really are as beautiful as ever' I thought while inviting them inside.
Akira and Emi Nakamura are two sisters with a strikingly beautiful appearance that combines Japanese style with a modern touch.
Akira, at the age of 18, has a tall and slender figure that seems delicate yet strong. Her long black hair cascades down her back in soft waves, and her light brown eyes sparkled with intelligence.
Despite her illness, her breasts and firm ass catch the attention of anyone who lays eyes on her, 'Including me' I took a sneak glance taking advantage of my hight.
She wears a traditional kimono, modified with modern touches. The deep purple silk of her kimono has a floral pattern with hints of gold, creating an elegant yet fashionable look. The long sleeves of the kimono are trimmed with a light blue fringe that matches the sash tied around her waist.
On her feet, she wears zori, a type of traditional Japanese sandal, with light purple straps that wrap around her ankles.
Emi, on the other hand, is a cute and bubbly 5-year-old girl who will surely grow up to be as beautiful as her older sister. Her short black hair frames her face in a bob, and her light brown eyes shine with curiosity and wonder.
She wears a modernized version of a traditional Japanese school uniform. Her navy-blue haori-style top has a white collar. Her pleated skirt falls just above her knees and is paired with black ninja shoes.
As a ninja-in-training, Emi's clothes are designed for ease of movement. Her top has a loose fit to allow for flexibility in her arms, while her skirt is shorter than a typical school uniform to provide better mobility.
She also wears a blue headband around her forehead, which is used to tie her hair back and keep it out of her face during training.
'It's a shame to let go of them'
Overall, the sisters have an understated elegance in their appearance, with traditional elements combined with modern touches. Their clothing reflects their personalities and lifestyles, while also highlighting their unique beauty.
The sisters greeted me back with a respectful tone bowing a little ""good evening Zemichi-sama""
I led them inside the living room where I prepared the table. We took our sits and started discussing.
"How is your health these days Akira-san?" I asked while inviting them to dig in the food.
She looked into my eyes and with a sincere expression she replied while taking chopsticks in her hands "Thank you for asking Zemichi-sama, I am getting used to it, I only want to live the rest of my days in peace with my Emi-chan here" while gesturing to her little sister next to her.
Emi who was listening to the conversation had a sad expression on her face, but still remained silent.
I looked at Emi and said "What about you Emi-chan, are you doing fine? Do you still keep up with your training regime?"
She looked at me with a proud expression and said that she has made a great progress and she is awaiting the time where she can spare with me to show me.
Afterwards, we stayed silent while eating our dinner. I got some polite complements regarding my cooking skills and promised to share some recipes with them after dinner.
I wanted to clean the table after finishing eating, but the sisters insisted on doing it. At least it was Emi who did all the work. Meanwhile, I started preparing tea for the serious discussion was about to start.
"Actually, I invited you here today to discuss with you something very important regarding our future plan" I said and got the full attention of the sisters after seeing my serious expression.
"We are all ears Kemichi-sama" said Akira while gaining a nod from Emi.
"The thing is that my parents were ninjas from the village hidden in the rain and…" I started recounting the story of my life to them while they were listening attentively. My mother never talked to them about our past and they were very curious about it.
"During our escape my mother discovered this place and built this house afterward, we stayed here for two years, before she decided to replenish our stock and bring the resources she and father prepared in the other safe houses." I continued while coming to the core of the problem.
"After this expedition, that lasted about two months, she came back with you guys" I said as I tried to chose my words carefully "She told what happened during that period and here is the thing…" I laid all the truth on the table and was watching their reaction carefully, studying every minute details.
Weirdly, enough they didn't even arch a brow, and just looked at me with an unreadable expression, 'this isn't what I expected' I mused internally while continuing while bowing deeply to them "I sincerely apologize instead of my mother's behalf, she only took advantage of the situation to make sure you are loyal enough to me after her death."
I didn't receive an answer so I continued my speech while still in my bowing position "I promise that I would do all of my best to cure you Akira-san and help you regain your health and even more. And you Emi-chan, no, Emi-san I will also provide you with all the training materials left behind by my mother and I will be more than happy to help you with your training." I said my proposition 'well I would share my father technique with you Emi-chan if yous stayed by my side. It is considered a clan heritage though; Well, I will groom you well to be my ideal wife.'
'I already mastered the ninjutsu and I just need to maximize my chakra reserve. I am also able to concoct medicine after studying the herbs and physiology books left by mother. I don't see a problem as long as they accept my apology. I don't have hope of them staying with me though' I sighed while still waiting for their response.
After a moment Akira spoke first "Please raise your head Zemichi-sama"
I heard her still using 'sama' suffix and as relieved 'that is a good sign. Or maybe she has a good self-control' I mused internally while raising my head before freezing in place.
I saw Emi crying silently with a small smile on her cute face, even though her expression was a mess, it didn't diminish her cuteness. While still confusing about her reaction, Akira spoke with calmness and happiness that she tried to hide, but couldn't and ended up smiling moderately "I already knew about what Nikko-sama did for us and it wasn't actually the whole story, she didn't stand watching while those beasts were killing and pillaging, and she tried her best to protect me even though she was a little late but I never blamed her. She actually saved quite a number of them while in hinge and slaughtered the ones that collided with the rogue ninjas for their benefits." I was dumb stuck at the development of the events and tried my best to make sense of this situation.
'Did my mother took this action of mine into consideration?' as if hearing my thoughts Akira said "No. Nikko-sama told you all of this to test your character and she was sure that you will pass with flying colors"
"What about your health?" I asked still not convinced.
"I am not in any mortal danger, and my paleness is due to intaking a medicine concocted by me that decreases my blood flow. I am perfectly healthy" at that remark even Emi was taken surprise.
"Sorry Emi-chan but I promised your sensei to never tell you unless Kemichi-sama pass or fail the test" Akira apologized while staring at me gently, waiting for me to digest all the new information.
"What would have happened if I took another course of action?" I asked while having a smile creeping my face involuntary.
"Well in that case we would wait for some years and disappear with your prize. You will never get to read your mother's will and we would have been so disappointed, especially Emi-chan" she said teasingly while Emi had her cheeks started gaining a tinge of red making her cuter.
"I see" was the only response I could come with at the moment.
After a moment I looked at them deeply in the eyes and said "I am relieved that everything went well, and I assume that, you will stay by myside?"
Before Akira could reply, Emi came closer to me and hugged me tightly while muttering "I was sure you will never treat us badly Kimechi-sama, thank you, thank you so much" I wasn't really surprised by her action, because she is a very energetic child. I decided to not tease her and just returned the hug warmly.
After we were separated Akira handed me a scroll, it was sealed the same way my father's will was a blood and chakra identification. I unsealed right away it and found only a letter in it which said:
"Dear son,
I knew I raised well, take care and lead a good life,
Love you,
Your beautiful mother"
'That settled it then, these are my mother's hand writings'
I saw the curiosity in the sisters' eyes but still acted reserved. I handed them the letter and looked at them still waiting for their response.
After looking at each other Akira and Emi bowed deeply a until their head touched the floor and said in one voice:
"As a ninja/a servant, I stand before you with unwavering loyalty.
My weapon, my heart, and my soul are all yours.
I will serve you with everything I am, from this moment until my dying breath.
My life is yours to command, and my devotion to you is unbreakable.
Trust in me, and I will never falter."
I was taken off guard, I wasn't expecting them to be prepared like this, I even doubt my mother taught these lines. I couldn't cringe because I felt their sincerity and I was touched. 'I should say something now' I contemplated about what to say.
"Please raise your heads, I am honored to receive your loyalty and trust, and I vow to do my utmost to lead and protect you." I said simply while they raised their heads.
"Now, what did my mother also left behind?" I asked after receiving another serving of tea from Akira that seemed to gain a healthy rosy color on her face.
"She left money, millions of ryos" Akira said.
"humm that would simplify a lot of my plans" I stated happily.
My statement got them hooked and asked with anticipation "What are you planning to do Kemichi-sma? Asked Emi.
"Well, you see, I am planning to…" I started explaining my future plans while receiving their feedback, regarding this matter.
"I am surprised Akira-san, you are so knowledgeable about business than I expected." I expressed my surprised after hearing Akira's ideas and inputs.
"I think it's the right time to tell you about our background Kemichi-sama, you see we were originally…" she began narrating their story. I wasn't actually surprised because I already had a doubt about them.
They were from a wealthy clan that survived on business and trading but they were annihilated one night because of a conflict between them and their competitors. They were the only survivor of their family.
"I see, well it is always nice to have useful people by my side. Now here is the plan for the next 5 years, we will first…" I began explaining the outline of my plan and I could see the astonishment like a daylight in a desert apparent on their faces.
We continued our discussion until it was late at night and we call it a day.
