Chapter 145: Chapter 145 : Let Start The Meeting (Rewrite)
Unlike how Kirito thought. He did not get to sleep in the meeting at all. Currently, he was watching the elders of the Uzumaki clan quarrel among themselves.
Well, it's not been a long time since the meeting has started. Only 5 minutes to be exact but Kirito was already feeling sleepy. The only reason he is not able to sleep is Ashina watching him like a hawk and those annoying elders shouting and making a fuss about pointless things.
"Why these Jurassic people are not kicking the bucket already is beyond me. If you want to make a ruckus at least wait for the main topic to enter into the discussion." Kirito thought.
Even his extraordinary talent of "Not giving a fuck and ignoring pointless crap" was not helping him right now to get that sweet sweet sleep which was just only a little distance away from his grabs but he could not just get it because these old people keep shouting in high pitch voice.
"Can we start the meeting now. I am really, I can't take this anymore. I rather go and fight Madara Uchiha than this" Kirito looked towards Ashina and said.
Ashina also looked a little ashamed. He might be the leader of the village but he have to listen to his elders. Not to mention, there are many elders here who have practically raised him. So he can't say anything.
"Hamm
I think that now everyone is here, we should start the meeting already" Ashina said after seeing that Kirito too was reaching his limit and knowing him, the first thing he would do is either just teleport out from here or use Haki to knock everyone out.
Listening to Ashina's voice all the elders wanted to say something. They usually don't give this leader much face, unless an outsider is present. But considering that Kirito was there they reframe from saying anything.
It was not entirely that they considered Kirito an outsider. In fact, internally they were pressuring Ashina to tie Kirito to the Uzumaki clan completely and Ashina for this reason was having more trouble for fast few days after the war. It all actually started after everyone saw what Kirito was really capable of in the war.
Not to mention, Kirito himself being an Uzumaki, there was nothing but full support from the Uzumaki family as a whole, especially after Kirito literally saved the entire clan.
Ashina was just happy that right after the war, Kirito closed himself inside his room and only did research.
This is also the reason, Kirito did not know that he had become the most eligible bachelor in the Uzumaki country.
But that was not the only reason, his personal power was also a reason. In fact, currently, he was being held as the Raikage Killer.
Everyone knows that the Third Raikage is the strongest Raikage in the history of the Cloud Village and currently, there are no other Kages who are as strong as him. Maybe once he dies, Sarutobi Hiruzen will take his position as the God of the Shinobi. But not now.
And that was the reason when the elders saw that Kirito was also getting pretty annoyed, they too just nodded at Ashina's word.
Ashina clearly noticed that this elder looked at Kirito after he told them to start the meeting. His eyes twitch and he is internally cured.

This was followed by Ashina explaining the reason for calling for this meeting. It mainly had to do with the recent war and how Whirlpool's next move was going to be. Lastly the most important might be, what to do with Konoha.
After the meeting really started, everyone's attention shifted from Kirito and Kirito finally got a little sleep. But that was only for a little bit. Because Kirito was woke when the last point was about to be discussed.
In fact, this was the most important thing that Ashina wanted to discuss and this was the only reason he held the meeting in the first place.
Kirito woke up because this was the time when the shinobi from the Konoha entered the meeting hall.
Usually, they had decided to finish this entire meeting without involving those shinobi but those Shinobi came here with Hokage's message. Not to mention, his own granddaughter almost got kidnapped after they entered the village. And thus he wanted to make sure that he understood what Konoha was after right now.
This is also the reason he needed Kirito here at all costs. He might be a bratty kid but he understands Konoha's higher-up thinking. Not to mention, others can't lie in front of him.
His sense will pick any lied told in front of him. And besides all of this, he is the person who defeated Raikage and ended the war. His presence itself is very important and will put pressure on this Konoha Shinobi.
Thus Kirito sat there and saw all the Konoha Shinobi entering and suddenly he saw two figures whom he sensed before.
"Minato, why you are here" said the mentioned person.
