"Next match is Shikamaru vs Douzu" said the Proctor.
"hmm his might be interesting match" thought Kirito. He like Shikimaru fight the most in the chunin exam phase.
The battle commenced, and Douzu charged forward, launching a flurry of attacks. Shikamaru, seemingly unfazed, casually dodged each strike with minimal effort. His calm demeanor annoyed Douzu, fueling his determination to land a hit.
Shikamaru yawned and glanced at the clouds drifting lazily above. "Is this all you've got?" he quipped, earning a frown from Douzu. Little did Douzu know that Shikamaru's apparent disinterest concealed a brilliant mind at work.
As Douzu continued his assault, Shikamaru's mind raced, analyzing every move. A mischievous grin formed on his face as he formulated a plan. He abruptly stopped, exclaiming, "Wait, I just had a brilliant idea!"
Confused, Douzu paused, giving Shikamaru the opening he needed. Shikamaru's shadow elongated, stretching towards Douzu with lightning speed. Douzu's eyes widened in horror as he realized he was trapped in Shikamaru's Shadow Possession Jutsu.
Shikamaru's voice dripped with smug satisfaction. "Checkmate." With a simple gesture, he immobilized Douzu, leaving him unable to move. The audience erupted into laughter at the unexpected turn of events.
Unable to escape Shikamaru's control, Douzu sheepishly surrendered, his ego deflated. Shikamaru's cleverness and ability to outwit his opponents had triumphed once again.
The crowd couldn't help but admire Shikamaru's brilliance, as his laziness and nonchalant attitude had concealed his true genius. His unorthodox methods and ability to think several steps ahead had led him to victory, leaving everyone in awe of his strategic mind.
As Shikamaru was declared the winner, he lazily sauntered off the battlefield, much to the amusement of the spectators. It was a fight that showcased both Shikamaru's tactical prowess and his knack for turning the most mundane situations into something truly extraordinary.
"Shikamaru's fights are always interesting" thought Kirito with a smirk.
"Next battle Gaara of the sand vs Rock Lee" said the Proctor.
"This again, So many matches are different, why is this match is the same" thought Kirito. He never like the outcome of this fight.
Gaara and Lee finally come to the area.
The air crackled with anticipation as Gaara, the fearsome sand wielder, and Rock Lee, the taijutsu prodigy, faced off in a showdown of strength and skill. The crowd held their breath, eager to witness the clash between these formidable opponents.
Rock Lee wasted no time, launching a series of blindingly fast punches and kicks. Gaara's sand shield effortlessly deflected each strike, a smirk forming on his face. Unyielding, Lee activated his inner gates, the aura of his intensified chakra enveloping him.

But Gaara's resolve remained unshaken. The sand that cocooned him began to swirl, forming a menacing defense. Lee's attacks pummeled the shield relentlessly, cracks forming under the immense pressure.
Sensing the need to escalate the battle, Lee decided to open the forbidden eighth inner gates, the Gate of Closing. A surge of overwhelming power coursed through his veins, propelling him to new heights of strength. With every strike, the ground trembled, and Gaara's defenses quivered.
Gaara's eyes gleamed with a touch of surprise, realizing the true extent of Lee's power. Yet, he refused to back down. Drawing upon his connection with the desert, he unleashed a ferocious sandstorm, engulfing Lee's movements and obstructing his attacks.
The battle reached its climax as Lee, his body weakened by the immense strain, pushed himself to the limit. However, Gaara's control over sand proved insurmountable. In a final surge of power, Gaara launched a devastating counterattack, slamming Lee into the ground with crushing force.
It was not exactly like the anime but the result was similar. Lee is injuied.
Gaara would have killed Lee but Might Guy stopped him. Kirito from the starting of the match was thinking whether he should save Lee.
But again, there is nothing to save here. It not like Lee does not have a choice here. He could have give up and after that Gaara could not have hit him no matter what as many Jonin would have stopped him but Gaara fought.
Kirito admire Lee for his determination and over coming his condition but at the same time he also feel like Lee is not a real Ninja Material.
A good martial artist or a fighter, definitely but a good ninja. No.
Kirito in fact feel that even his own brother, Naruto later in the series is not a good ninja. He might be strong but he does not understand what shinobi operate.
With this almost all the pointless match in Kiriot's mind were done and now only important once were left.
His, Naruto's and Ino's fight that is.
