Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Newly added brothers
White mansion:
A huge white-colored mansion stood behind a beautiful garden. The sunset's orange hue lit the enormous mansion, a beautiful sight from which no one could look away.
Melanie peeped from the Limo's window, seated beside Erick. She shivered as she thought about the arrogant young masters and miss of rich families like in the novels, which she had read.
" Don't worry dear, everything will be fine " He assured her as he saw her hesitance and held her hand, guiding her outside.
" I'm fine, just a little nervous ." She muttered, trying to hold herself together.
' Well, let's give this one a try, too. For my parents.' she sighed and got out. ' For dad.. '

Inside the mansion:
Melanie was engulfed by a huge bear hug as soon as she entered the mansion.
"Aha... What the... uhm " she controlled herself from cursing out loud.
" Welcome home." the beautiful lady, who almost crushed her by the hug, cheered, releasing her from the hug.
The lady was beautiful with her long blond hair till the waist, green eyes, and graceful smile. She seemed amiable and fun to be around at the first sight.
Melanie felt embarrassed at her own looks- disheveled, odd, and aloof.
All that she wasn't !!
" I'm Judith Heike and this, "my husband Jeff White," she said pointing towards a man in his early 40's, with dark hair peppered with a few locks of white, though his age did not hinder his handsomeness. He just nodded with a friendly smile.
' Great, everyone here looks like they've just jumped out of a k-pop drama. What a family! ' she thought to herself and tried to hide her inner thoughts. Suddenly, she was pulled into another bone-crushing hug, again
' F.u.*.' she cursed internally.
'Dude, can you guys stop with the unexpected, overfriendly hugs? We don't even know each other for God's sake' Melanie screamed internally, not caring much to hide her annoyed look, this time.
" Hi Melanie, I'm Spencer." the golden-haired boy said releasing her from his hug with a wide grin. " Your foster brother, younger. " he added.
"B
Younger?" Melanie blurted out, seeing the tall guy in front.
" Yep, you heard right little sis. He's 2 years younger than you are. " a loud yet gentle voice made Melanie turn around towards the stairs, which stood in the right end of the main room away from the one on left. She saw a dark-haired guy with green eyes ." I'm Skyler. You can call me whatever you want like big bro, bro, just Skyler will do too." he shrugged.
' Why does he look familiar?' she thought as she saw Skyler.
"Yeah, you can call him as**ole too, he wouldn't mind " Spencer hugged Skyler's neck, earning a huge hump on his head by our generous big bro.
"Forget those punks, meet Brenden," Judith said as an 18-year-old, dark-haired boy descended the left stairs and walked towards her. He pushed his silver-framed eyeglasses up the bridge of his nose and looked at her.
"Melie," he said and gave her a small but comforting smile.
Seeing someone familiar she lost all her pretenses of holding together, she could have controlled herself if it was'nt 'that person'. But at that moment, nothing else mattered. As all that mattered to her was not present, at least not any more.
Melanie ran over and hugged him and couldn't stop her tears from falling.
It was her first time that she had done it, but as told, it doesn't matter.
She wept " Bren, *sob* I'm all* sob* alone *sob* lost..." hearing her words he pulled her into a tighter embrace. He frowned hearing her words. " I don't know what to do... "
" I'm here don't worry," he muttered comfortingly and turned towards the people who were staring at the scene which unfolded before them, shocked.
" I'll take her to her room"
...
As soon as they left, Skyler broke the absolute silence, as his curiosity sky-rocketed.
" Did I just see Brenden smile?"
" Uhh.. well did you know that that ice block could be so gentle and I don't know...kind?" Spencer quesioned, ignoring his brother.
" He even consoled her."
"I didn't know that my cold and aloof grandson could be so sweet to anyone." Erick joined them- commenting.
" I guess she was the girl," Judith whispered to Jeff. He smiled at her words and nodded once.
" We'll let him deal with it. Now, that things are quite different than before," he said.
"Of course. "
