Chapter 8: New Sakura

Sakura's eyes welled up with emotion as she gazed at Hayato.
Her voice quivered with a mix of sadness and nostalgia.
"Is this it?" She asked softly, her words hanging in the air. "Am I going to show up where the Sasori battle is still ongoing right now?"
In her mind, she was reminiscing about all she went through in these two years, and it seemed to link into one thing in the end.
'It seems I did end up liking Hayato sensei…' She finally confirmed it with her own self. She had been torn about this for a while now, not knowing what she was feeling.
Meanwhile, Hayato, always the pragmatic one, nodded gently and began to explain.
"Yes, Sakura," He replied, his tone gentle yet had a matter-of-fact tone to it. "Technically, time was stopped for just one second in the real world as I've told you before. But in the system space where we trained together, two years have passed. It's like a time warp, you see." He explained the same thing to her once more.
In fact, it can't be said that he didn't know what Sakura's eyes were delivering. Her intentions. He of course knew them. After all, he was very experienced in that regard.
But he didn't want to be seen as that type of teacher who would do those sorts of things with his disciples…
Sakura had a bittersweet smile forming on her lips.
She knew the intricacies of the system, how they had spent countless hours together, honing their skills, and forging a deep bond.
It had been an intense journey, one that had shaped her in ways she couldn't fully express. She had even somehow managed to change her mindset, became more trustworthy, and stronger, and even got over the Sasuke obsession.
"I know what you're thinking, Sakura," Hayato continued as he felt he should say something, his eyes locking with hers, "but what we experienced here, the memories we created, they're real to us. And no matter what, they'll always be a part of who we are. So, you can rest assured, this doesn't mean anything has changed, You, Naruto, and anyone in the future, you'll still be my disciples"
She was afraid that now her teacher was going to go and she wouldn't be able to meet him at all.
Sakura nodded before a small smile graced her lips. She reached out and hugged Hayato, taking him by surprise as this was the first time she had done so. "Thank you, Hayato-sensei," She whispered, her voice filled with gratitude. "For everything." She was now a changed woman. And she couldn't wait to showcase her new strength to her allies.
And, if word got out that someone of her age, 18y/o, had her strength, no one would believe it at all, they would rather believe the moon is fake than believe that.
Hayato smiled warmly and returned the hug while trying to ignore how hot the now mature body of Sakura is.
"There is no need to thank me, I did what I felt right and wanted, after all. Also, right now I'm in Konoha and will be staying there for a while, so let's eat some ramen when you're done with your mission."
"Let's make sure that we introduce you to your senpai, Naruto, heh?" He chuckled as she scrunched her eyebrows at him.
'Hehe, she must not like it if Naruto is her senpai, well that's understandable in the case of that brat,' Hayato thought amused.
But meanwhile, Sakura was thinking to herself how dense her teacher was.
'Why couldn't it just be just the two of us having a date?' Now that she recognized her feelings, she would be more active.
She even somewhat regretted not doing anything during the two years.
But Hayato continued.
"Though I said that, most likely you'll meet him on your mission again since he's your teammate and he'll recognize the pin you have and your new strength, so let's just enjoy a meal together, haha"
He said and Sakura nodded her head while looking at the UG pin on her clothes, symbolizing her status as Hayato's student.
Hayato coughed as while she was looking at the pin on her left breast, he also was looking at the 'Pin', and damn were her boobs big, *cough* he meant was the pin big.
"Finally, now that you graduated, here's your last gift from me!"
It was about time for her to go, so he had to give her the last gift.
It was a small piece of crystal-like substance. It even looked like it was something like candy, sweet with its alluring red color.
"This is a conqueror's haki seed, and once you consume it, it'll be up to you to train it!" Hayato grinned as she took it from him.
Sakura knew what conqueror's haki was as such she was thrilled. As she knew once she mastered it, apart from her fellow disciples she'll be very strong in this world.
"Bye-bye, Sakura!"
She bowed at the waist as she thanked him and Hayato waved at her before she felt her vision shift.

The first thing Sakura laid her eyes on was Sasori's iron sand-using puppet, which was made from the third Kazekage.
It had lunged at her with an iron sand attack shaped like a cone, and she felt the strings at her body connected to Lady Chiyo's fingers.
*Shing*
They tried to move her, but Sakura shook her body slightly and the strings got cut off.
"W-What are you doing, young Sakura?"
The lady in question, was shocked and nervous as she saw the attack about to hit Sakura.
She also noticed something. This Sakura was slightly different from before, she was a bit taller, and more mature if she would say.
'What the hell happened to her?' But now wasn't the time so Chiyo got her bearings back.
'I have to use it' She was about to use her right arm, which she had turned into a puppet part, to help Sakura, but she was shocked again when she saw Sakura's arm turned black due to some weird jutsu most definitely.
She felt like she had things under control so Chiyo waited to see.
And she wasn't disappointed at all.
Sakura punched the cone that was spinning rapidly, and this time it broke apart into dust.
Both Sasori and Chiyo were surprised.
At best earlier, Sakura had been punching the iron sand objects throwing them around, now she destroyed it completely and that wasn't even taking into account that it was spinning which she earlier couldn't do anything about.
Meanwhile, Sasori was slightly angry.
"You've been holding back since earlier?"
That was how he took it. After all, if she wasn't then why was she struggling before?
Sakura just grinned and didn't bother replying to someone like this.
He took offense to that and attacked her with multiple cones, spears, and cubes made of iron sand.
But just like before, she acrobatically dodged them, and gave them each a punch with her haki-clad hands and they were done for.
Sasori started to assess how to attack again.
He used a huge amount of chakra and made a net of iron sand and it started to rain connected spears at her, and this time Sakura finally took it a bit seriously.
*Thud*
She went to the sky, with one punch that destroyed everything coming at her as she kept soaring like a rocket until she reached the topmost place and then used emission to destroy the structure from where the spears were coming.
*Boom*
Everything exploded into dust as a result.
Sasori was a bit frustrated since it seemed like nothing he was doing was working.
"Oy, don't get distracted,"
But suddenly, he found Sakura was near the third Kazekage puppet, and she gave it a light tap with the back of her hand, and law and behold, the puppet broke into small particles.
