''Since this morning, she has been acting this strange. I have no idea what is going on with her. She hugged me and my mom this morning''
''They say, when someone suddenly changes; then, it means they're about to die. Is Ayah going to die?'' Sandra asked rhetorically.
''Hey, stop mentioning death'' Clara said.
''Look at her. She is in dreamland. Hey, Ayah…'' Sandra called and was about to speak when Samantha cut in.
''Did something good happen to you? Why do you look so happy?'' Samantha asked.
''Ladies, let's go and get some honey water for our brains. And yes, I am treating'' Inayah stood up and looked at Samantha, ''aren't you going to move? I don't mind shoving you away''

''Ayah, did something good happen to you?'' Sandra asked as she sipped the honey limed water Inayah bought for them.
''Right. Why are you suddenly acting nice?'' Bertha pulled Inayah back and asked, ''are you sick?''
''No, I am not sick''
''Then why are you acting so strange?'' Clara asked.
''Nothing. I am just happy that's all''
''What are you happy about? Do you have a boyfriend or did you fall in love with someone?'' Sandra asked back.
''Oh, Sandra, don't be so curious. This is my private life matters''
''Private life?'' Bertha stood in front of Inayah, ''tell us that private matter''
''Hey, do you have a boyfriend?'' Clara screamed and covered her mouth.
''Boyfriend? What about the mystery man? Did you dump him already?'' Bertha placed her hands on Inayah's shoulders.
''Hey, what are you girls talking about? Why don't I know what is going on?'' Sandra also became curious.
''There is a man, who stays opposite Inayah…'' Clara was about to continue when Inayah saw Joy hiding at a corner listening in.
''Stop, ladies. Clara, I don't have a boyfriend. Bertha, there is nothing going on between the mystery man and me. Sandra, the less you know; the safer you will be. Now, let's go to class, okay?'' Inayah said to them and hurried towards the classroom.

Samantha washed her hands and wiped them with a tissue before turning to Selina.
''I want you to find out everything that is going on with Inayah. She seems different and unusual lately''
''Don't worry, I will have someone dig into her''
''I have a surprise for her next week at the school's PTA day''
''This time around, she won't go free. Where is Joy? I asked her to follow Inayah and find out what is making her happy today''

Dr. Nick's Consulting Room.
''You told Inayah about you and Lilian?'' Nick asked and chuckled.
''I must have gone crazy. Why did I even do that?''
''Jasper, do you know that apart from Lilian and I, she is the first person you're opening up to?''
''I know. That girl seems to have a magnet that pulls me in'' Jasper said and seemed to be in deep thought.
''So, what did she say?''
''She didn't say anything. She just told me to give her some time and went to bed. She left early yesterday. I even traced her and I found out she went out to meet Lilian''
''Could it be that she went to find her to ask her about you?''
''I don't know''
''What about Lilian? Have you heard anything from her?''
''No''
''Should I call her and find out what happened between them?''
''Can you do that?''
''Let me call her'' Nick took his phone and dialled Lilian's number. It rang for a few minutes and went to voicemail. 'She is not answering it''
''What if she feels betrayed?''
''Jasper, which one of them are you referring to? No, let me put it this way. Which one of them are you worried about right now?''
''What do you mean?''
''You're worried about two women. I need you to pick one''
''One is my childhood friend and ex, the other is someone I need. Who do I pick?'' Jasper threw the question back at him.
''Okay, so, who is on your mind right now? Whose call are you really waiting for right now?''
''Do I have to answer that?''
''No, but I believe you already know whose call you are waiting for. That is the real one you are worried about. You are afraid she will not call again or want anything to do with you again''
''You are right. stop playing detective with me. I am waiting for the kid's call'' Jasper gave up and said it.
After Inayah went to the mall to look for Lilian. She wanted to ask her an important question so she decided to go to the mall to look for her instead of calling.
''Hi, my name is Inayah and I am here to meet with the CEO. Could you please show me her office?'' Inayah went to the administrative block of the mall as soon as she entered and then asked the receptionist.
''Who are you?'' the lady behind the counter asked as she sized Inayah up. she was in her uniform.
''I just told you who I am'' Inayah replied, looking at the lady with a confused gaze.
''And you want to meet the CEO? What kind of relationship do you have with our CEO?'' she continued to interrogate Inayah.
''Why do you ask? Do you know me?'' Inayah asked back. She hated people who tried to look down on her.
''Are you not one of the girls from the orphanage?'' the lady asked and placed her carefully designed manicured nails on the counter.
''Ahh, you must have mistaken me for someone else, but, all the same. You don't speak to people like that. So what if I'm from the orphanage?''
''What is going on here?'' another lady entered the counter and asked.
''This girl said she wants to meet the CEO. I wonder if just anyone can meet the CEO now?'' the first lady scoffed.
''Excuse me, but, you're being rude and I won't accept it'' Inayah said to the first lady.
''Hi, please do you have an appointment with the CEO? Does she know that you are coming?'' the second lady asked, in a politer and professional manner.
''No, I wanted to surprise her. I totally forgot I needed appointment''
''Does she know you?'' the lady asked. She found Inayah a little familiar.
''Yes. She knows me. We're friends''
'You're friends with the CEO?'' the first lady asked in a sarcastic manner.
''That's enough, Caroline. Miss, come with me'' the second one chastised the first one named Carolina.
''How can you let her into the CEO's office, Maggi?'' Carolina asked.
''It's okay. I will just give her a call. You don't have to let me in if it will put your work at risk''
''You will give her a call?'' Maggi asked and suddenly remembered where she saw Inayah from. She was with Lilian at Lilac café when Maggi saw them.
''Yes, she doesn't believe me. I will just call her. I don't want you to lose your job because of me'' Inayah took out her phone and called Lilian. 'She is not picking up''
''You have the CEO's number? Then I have her mother's number'' Carolina said and chuckled.
Inayah looked at her and sighed. ''Excuse me, I didn't want to say this but, do you know me? Why do you keep speaking to me like that?''
