Chapter 412: A blasphemous arrival to Kolhis - Lidya's POV

"What a fuc*ing disaster."

Standing atop the lighthouse overlooking Kolhis's solitary port, the Deputy General observed her subordinates encamped just beyond the harbor. Tolem, her aide, stood a respectful pace behind her.

She couldn't believe it, but the same timid Emorian woman who had once moved the world eight years ago was now stirring it again, all for the sake of her son.

"When will she arrive?" She asked.

"The Archduchess of Lanark is not expected to arrive for another three days."

Her impending encounter with Adelaide de Lanark was intimidating, but the thought that the Archduchess was close friends with Lydia's favorite cousin, Duchess Sasha, gave her some comfort. After all, wouldn't they share many similarities?

"...I can't believe I lost her son."
