While dealing with Hawke more often wouldn't be appealing, it would be worth it to regularly see Kyle having so much fun in the kitchen with his mentor and getting to eat the delectable results.

Jacques barked orders at Kyle as though he were the world's most incompetent sous chef, and Kyle responded with a level of sass that would have gotten him fired from an actual kitchen. It was obvious to Andrea that this kind of well worn banter was an old habit between the two of them.

But when the call came down that the master and lady of the house were preparing to eat, Kyle and Andrea took that as their cue to leave. Jacques made a quip about being back on the clock and promised Andrea an IOU for desert. She hoped she'd have the chance to collect.
