Chapter 63: Hawke

Kyle seemed to be in shock as he stood staring at his father.

Hawke and James both seemed to understand that Kyle needed a second to process. Hawke closed his laptop and set it to one side, folding his hands fastidiously in his lap.

"Well," he said after a moment, "are you going to get in?"

"What are you doing here?" Kyle asked, ignoring his question.

"You want to have this conversation stood out on the street?" Hawke said, ignoring Kyle's question.

"How did you know we would be here? And at the courthouse? Are you following us?" said Kyle.

"Are you going to introduce me to your friend?" said Hawke.

"What do you WANT?" growled Kyle.
