Chapter 91: Tiny Miracles

Andrea stepped out of the shower and toweled off. She examined herself in the bathroom mirror, trying to decide how to get ready for an outfit she hadn't seen. Kyle had suggested the simple bun she had used several times when presenting in court. It was a favorite, one that she knew she could pull off well. But did she want an old favorite tonight…? 

She had time, so she pulled up a search on her phone and found something similar but more appropriate for an evening dress. Without knowing how the dress would go on or the neckline, would completing an updo beforehand be a mistake? Either way, she prepped with a little volume and loose curls. She could pull the rest together quickly when she knew more. 

What was the worst he could do? Order a slinky figure-hugging cocktail dress with a plunge to her navel and a hemline barely past her hips? He wouldn't be that stupid, he'd know she'd never agree to even put it on.
