The mc seems like a type to gather all information before making decision but somehow just turns stupid when it comes to evolving his pet. He could be thoughtful sometimes but the other time becomes very stupid. Quess what he evolve his first pet with ? I won't spoil but he have plenty of time to find other options! He sometimes is very strict and mature which makes sense since he reincarnated but suddenly becomes very childish and got scared of his parents. It have potential but too many contradictory.
ive read up to chapter 88 very slow so far. its a fine read. id like chapters a Little longer. I don't really feel like stories progressing too much honestly. but overall a good read. a main protagonist as a child with a pet insect.
Hi, the story looks quite good, can't wait for more chapters.. and hope it's a long one like around more than 1000 chapters.. with interesting insect evolution, great world building and story development ...
A novel with a lot of potential, it's a shame that it seems like the protagonist doesn't care much about his insects, I'm used to protagonists where their beasts are more important than their own family.
Well rounded fleshing out of main character. The concept is fresh and the authors unique touch to the creatures and affinities bring a fresh touch to beast taming that is quite enjoyable so far. Keep it up!
It is pretty good but author is dragging the story too much… by the time he goes to academy it will be choater 400 probably… then only time in academy will be 1000 chapters… whole story by this tempo will jave over 6000 chapters… so pretty crazy…
this could have been incredibly great and maybe in the same league as the first legendary beast tamer. If it weren't for its boring pacing, it's a lot worse than most beast tamer novels I read. The story only gets hype WHEN IT'S ABOUT THE PRAYING MANTIS FOCUSING ON EVOLVING. But ofc the author is gonna milk the shit out of this shit.
I really enjoy the story so far. I'm looking forward to future chapters and how the progression of the MC takes place.
The story started out with an interesting concept, but quickly turned into the MC acting like a child. he's reincarnated. We should not be spending time around his 8 year old self. He got his insects, we know the direction on where we are going from here. We should be reading on how he's traveling the world fighting different level beasts. Instead, 80 chapters in he's still a child who acts like a child (Even though he would be way older with his memories). This ruined the book for me.

An interesting idea with taming only insects, arachnids, worms, etc. in a world of tamers, where everyone relies only on vertebrates. True, the book itself seems to me rather boring and doesn't present surprises... I guess I was missing true characters and world building for this point? I am kind of a character-oriented reader and couldn't find someone to relate and deeply love in this book (except the praying mantiss, it is adorable and fearless!) as well as emotional enough writing... Anyhow, this novel is really easy to read - I caught up with the ongoing just in one day, and I am not a native English speaker, so I read slowly in this language. In any case, I'll try to read on, for the beasts and insects, of course. I hope to see that the main character somehow will be able to use the potential of social/swarm insects in the future - because it is simply off the charts. Especially considering the evolutionary abilities of MC. Praying mantises are already beautiful and cool, but one incect compared a queen with the hive of thousands of incects, which will take apart any enemy in a seconds... Now, there is something to look forward to!

It has an amazing beginning and storyline and it has a great potential to be one of the best, cause the protagonist has ability to evolve his tame.
i have read so many books I've lost count and yet I'm impressed with this one more than the last ten books I've read id give it 10 stars if I had more chapters to read.

A good novel, I'm sorry that the protagonist doesn't have as much affection for the insects but I understand that insects must not have emotional intelligence like humans.
I really love this story! but I'm going a little crazy waiting for updates though 😅 I like the that it is slightly slower in pace and that the writer doesn't jump in the story so you really get the chance to follow along and get to know the character/ characters. I do wish for slightly longer chapters but that has nothing to do with the actual story in my opinion so consider it a side note. 😋
I loved this novel, usually these novels are all about the dragons being better and the protagonists have dragons, but unless this novel has a dragon insect (that would be really funny) I'll still like it, I like these different novels, for example I once read a novel in which the protagonist could only tame bacteria and viruses.
