Chapter 3: ASSOCIATION's TEST
Night came, at Blaike's house. "Blaike-chan, tomorrow is the day of your awakening ceremony. What would you like to have for our celebration?" Grandma Ahmya Asked while sitting on her chair sewing. "I would like to have a delicious homemade curry! And my favorite PIE! All kinds of pie Granny!" As Blaike suggesting his favorite foods while imagining it. "hhmm.." grandma smile. "I'll make my signature pie then And lots and lots of food tomorrow, so you must do your best and make sure to go home early." Grandma gave him a glanced and smile. "Okay, granny! I think I need to go to sleep now, goodnight granny!" Blaike smiles happily and then makes his way to his room.
In his room, Blaike sat in his bed and read a journal book about his Granny's Journey. As he was reading some parts of the pages, "Hhmm? Granny never mention to me that she had two sisters that accompanied her when she traveled. Their names are Kathie and Medea, hmmm Where are they?" Blaike had a lot of questions from his mind. *maybe I'll just ask her tomorrow after the ceremony. Now it's time to sleep.* Blaike turned off the light lamp and started sleeping.
{MARCH 27 2112}
Early morning, "Granny! Is my outfit look great?" Blaike turns around and lets his granny see his attire. Wearing plain and fitted grey shirt with a black hoodie jacket that folded onto his elbow with dark gray cargo short pants matching up with black and white shoes. With silver wristband on his left hand. "what do you think?" Blaike added another question. "Hhmmm.." Grandma Ahmya took something on the table and walked towards Blaike, then she wraps a dark purple scarf onto his neck. A silky yet comfy scarf that she made. "Ohhh... that's perfect!" With a bright smile that came from her face. "Are you sure granny? I think it's kinda little weird putting this on..." Blaike responded with a little confused. "You need that because it's your special day today and I made this especially for you, It's a lucky charm." Grandma Ahmya then pushed Blaike out. "Now go! Don't be late!" She waved her hand on him and he also waved back, but they didn't know that someone is watching them behind the tree near their house...
Blaike arrived at southeast children seminary. "Little bro Blaike!" A female loud voice coming from afar "Big sis Maria!" He responded while running towards her. "Wow! Your outfit suits you, little bro! You look cute especially that scarf! It's impressive!" Maria praised Blaike's outfit. "...." Blaike doesn't respond to her and felt astonished for what he saw in front of him. He saw a cute girl with a beautiful outfit, "Aa..aahh big sis Maria you look beautiful in that pink flowering outfit of yours!" Blaike complimented her in shyness way.
Maria's outfit is inspired by old Chinese tradition yet improvised into modernizing Pink lace short sleeve mandarin collar Chinese dress with a flowering design all over its part, plus cute dark pink Chinese slippers. It made her skin look lighter and brighter.
"Do you like it?" She cutely asked him. "Yeah! I like it! But what's with the outfit? Is it New Year today? Or dress to imp-" Blaike didn't finish his sentence when Maria responded immediately with a loud and embarrassing reaction. "Mom forced me to wear this! I didn't even get a chance to change clothes! Because we are both arguing and we spent for an hour and so I just bare it with pride!" She talked as if she was imagining what happened a while ago. "But after this ceremony, I'm going to hide this so that she will never make me wear it again!" With a sad tone. *But I know you like that outfit though, you are just keeping it for your collection, You fashionholic maniac!* Blaike knew that Maria loves fashion clothes and dresses. Her room has loads of so many clothes in her big closet and those brand new clothes that she bought mostly be wasted because she doesn't want to use them. "Children! Now fall into two lines one line for girls and one for boys. We will start the ceremony when the bell rings." When they heard teacher Suzi's command, all the students fall in line.
All 22 students fall into line while waiting for the bell to ring, the place where students are is on the outside small chapel near their seminary, the chapel is quite an old fashion design but the inside is so clean and very neat. When the bell rang all students that are in front of the chapel are now ready to go inside and then the door opened, All the students started walking inside. In front of them, they saw two unknown people standing in front of the altar floor with beautiful and handsome looks. Their uniforms are so clean and freshly new, the man who looks 30 plus years old, having formal white polo on the inside and a black coat on the outside matching with fitted black suit pants and shiny black boots. Though he's not so thin or fat you can see that masculinity from his appearance with his black sided parted hair and his red pure eyes. For the woman's uniform is well fitted and very sexy that even every angle of her body has shown. She also wears a white shirt inside and a black coat on the outside that covered her inner part matching with fitted pants and black sandals. She has long blonde hair, sky blue sparkling eyes with glasses, her thick kissable red lips and her pointy nose made her whole face looks beautiful and refreshing. all in all, they both are handsome and beautiful.
All the students were mesmerized by their appearances. *I think they are from the White Sand City and they are definitely from the government just like granny said. Their outfit was a superb.. hmm speaking of outfit I think I know someone who loves those stuff.* when Blaike took a glance at Maria, he already expected her reaction. Maria can't take her eyes off from their uniform, that can even see those sparkling eyes and those obsessive look. *she is obsessed with it.*
"Good day children, we are from the Government Association who will be monitoring you today. The Vice President of White Sand City order us to travel to different places and have an examination for every child 6-8 years old. After the awakening ceremony, we will call back those names who will be allowed to go with us in White Sand City and continue to study there, plus we will provide you a scholarship, savings and even rooms. And for those we can't pick, don't worry you can still go to another university or academy if you wanted to. So today you better don't slack and give it all you've got!" The woman gave them a strong determination with a very serious statement. "Uhm... So today, before we start the awakening ceremony, we will explain to you what are your tests. Your First test is to examine your INNATE POWER by using the energy orb and lastly, we will do transferring energy to awaken your INSIGNIA. Ano... We will now start the awakening ceremony. The first line would be the girl group." The man acted nervously, even though he has ga masculinity he can't still hide his stagefright to speak in front with a lot of people around.
"My name is NING LOU, I am conducting your innate power." The blonde woman explained. "Ano..I'm BAO LIE, 28 years old, I'm going to conduct the awakening, please nice to meet you." The man bowed as a formal greeting. "Let's start!" The woman said. All the girls are heading up. One by one they performing the task. "First up, state your name and age." The woman asked. "Lang Shin, 6 years old." The girl responded in a shyness way. "So in this orb, you must put your spiritual energy, for it to light. The brighter it lights the higher your innate power will be. 1-10 will be Practitioner energy, 11-20 will be Master energy, 21-30 will be the Earthly Master Energy, 31-40 will be the Heavenly Master energy, 40-60 will be Spirit energy and 61-90 will be the Saint energy." As ms. Ning Lou explained the levels of energy power.
The girl put her hands to the orb and release her spiritual energy on it. As the orb lighted up the whole children were amazed. *she has a 9 innate power.. not bad for a 6 years old.* "next" After the girl finishes her first conduct she is now going to have the second test. "Hello little girl, now I'm going to perform an 'energy transfer'. I will pass energy for you to awaken your soul and break the Seal within you. You just close your eyes and when you feel the sealed has been broken, you can now open your eyes and say the word 'awaken'. Did you get what I just said?" Mr. Bao Lie instructed the steps for awakening. "Yes, sir." She replied and then she closed her eyes,
Mr. Bao Lie placed both of his hands and put it on the girl's head, he then performed. He released his energy and pass it on to the girl, for about seconds passed, the girl opened her eyes and the first circle of the layer with a color of white pop up and also the second layer inside the circle pops up again and it showed the form of LINE INSIGNIA in her eyes. "[awaken: WIND]" when the girl said it, the air suddenly appeared from all over her body as if she was part of the wind itself.
"Okay! Now close your eyes and say the word [Begone]." The girl nodded. "[begone]" When the girl spoke the word, all the wind from had suddenly disappeared. "Thank you, little girl. Now go outside and wait there until we finish here. Okay?" Mr. Bao Lie smiled at her. "Okay sir, thank you." She replied and then walked away. "Next." After a couple of minutes, some of the girls had already finished their awakening and is waiting outside, the next one who will take the test is Maria. "State your name and age." "I'm Sung Maria and I am 6 years old!" Maria said it with such enthusiastic sound. Ms. Ning Lou stared at her for about seconds before responding. "Okay, you know what to do, if you're ready just put your hands and release your spiritual energy."
When Maria put her both hands to the orb and release her energy in just a few seconds the orb lighted brightly and astonishingly. *hmm?...This girl! She will have a great future, At such a young age to have a 16 innate power! Is she comes from a rich family or something? hmm-" ms. Ning Lou couldn't stop thinking "uhm..am I finish now? I couldn't take it anymore.." Maria immediately asked ms. Ning Lou for she felt a little tired. "Ohh..oh I'm sorry I couldn't handle myself thinking about something. You have a good innate power within you, you have a better future young girl." Ms. Ning Lou praised her with expectation. All the students inside were shocked about the outcome And even whispering about her result. She then looks back and has a conceited face when looking to one person. She was referring to Blaike who got very surprised about the result. Her smile to him means *can you beat me?* Blaike knows what that means and he was fired up answering *bring it on!*. "Young girl, could you please go on to your next test." Ms. Ning Lou interrupted her while Maria was gazing. "Ohh I'm.. I'm sorry ma'am. And thank you."
