Chapter 231: Chapter 231: D2 of dating
"You are checking your phone this early morning? That's rare." Zhang Ming Ming said as she took the seat next to Bai Yi Yang in the bus.
"Ah.." Bai Yi Yang quickly turn off her phone and put it away.
"What are you hiding?" Zhang Ming Ming becomes much more suspicious.
"Ming Ming…did you ever have a boyfriend before?" Bai Yi Yang ask. She really is not use to this, just now, she was checking text messages from Ah Qi, he was wishing her good morning and said that he is heading to work now, telling her to have a nice day at school. She replied him back exactly the same manner, saying that she is also heading to school and have a nice day. Thinking about it, this is also how she replied to other people.
"Yeah, in my 8th grade. But we broke up after 3 weeks." Zhang Ming Ming said.
"Then, do you remember how you communicate with him? What did you talk about?" Bai Yi Yang ask curiously.
"Hurm..we just talk about school, teachers, classmates, homework and so on." Zhang Ming Ming answer.
"Then, how about someone that wasn't from the same school? Do you talk about other stuff other than school?" Bai Yi Yang said. She thinks this is not applicable to her, Ah Qi is bit a school students, what more he lives so far away in City Shan.
"Wait..did you get yourself a boyfriend?" Zhang Ming Ming look at Bai Yi Yang.
"Shh..don't say it out loud." Bai Yi Yang look at Bai Yi Chen direction and relieved that he is busy with his friend too.
"Oh my..Yang Yang, you silently get a boyfriend without telling me. Quickly tell me who it is?" Zhang Ming Ming giggles.
"You don't know him.." Bai Yi Yang said.
"I am so jealous. This must be why people wanted to represent the school to competition, to get to know new people, you also can find a match." Zhang Ming Ming immediately assume that Bai Yi Yang's boyfriend is someone that she met while going to competition. Bai Yi Yang also won't correct this, it's better if nobody knows the truth.
"If it were someone far, then you can talk about favourite food ah, musics, movie, books..things like that." Zhang Ming Ming said.
"Can you show me his picture. Is he good looking?" Zhang Ming Ming stuck close to Bai Yi Yang.
"I don't have his picture, we are new." Bai Yi Yang said. Well, this is an idea, she can ask for picture from him later.
"Ohh..no wonder.." Zhang Ming Ming squealed excitedly.
"Tell me more, at least describe his look or how tall is he?" Zhang Ming Ming said.
Bai Yi Yang carefully try to remember Ah Qi face and describe it to Zhang Ming Ming, no matter how she thinks, Ah Qi is more good looking than her twin brother.
"As for his height, he is taller than my gege, I can't reach his shoulder yet." Bai Yi Yang said.
"Is he a senior? Your taste is high, then he shouldn't be a normal high school student too."Zhang Ming Ming said. Bai Yi Chen is among the tallest in Grade 10, if he is much taller than should be a senior.
"No need to guess. Anyway, that's how he look." Bai Yi Yang cut of Zhang Ming Ming thought.
"Haiyaa…my friend is already taken, many will be frustrated in our school." Zhang Ming Ming said.
"Don't say it to anyone yet, when we are stable then I will reveal it to my gege first. He is the most difficult one." Bai Yi Yang said.
"Okay, okay. Your secret safe with me." Zhang Ming Ming said.
So today, Bai Yi Yang mood is very good. For the first time, she feel a bit reluctant to give her phone to Mr.Ling. But, should be okay since Ah Qi knows that she can't use her phone during school time.
Bai Yi Yang feels the time is quite slow, during the last period, she was looking at her watch many time, wondering when the class will ends. Is this what her female classmates described as falling in love? She thought she would be different, who knows she also feels the flutter every time she receive message from Ah Qi.
"Hey. What's so urgent that you are looking at your watch many times?" Su Long said. He paired up with Bai Yi Yang to do short song using the recorder later, this is a part of assessment for Music class. The last 30 minutes has been allocated for them to practice.
"Huh? Nothing." Bai Yi Yang is a bit startled and continue reading the music notes.
"You looks lovesick." Su Long lightly laugh.
"What are you talking about?!" Bai Yi Yang is flustered, she didn't notice that her voice is quite loud. The people around them look over, luckily the class is a bit noisy to begin with.
"I was just joking.." Su Long is taken aback with Bai Yi Yang reaction.
"Fine, let's practice some more." Bai Yi Yang also feels embarrassed and quickly move on. She feels that she is overreacting. She will be found out like this.

Bai Yi Yang finally get to check her phone after almost half a day. She quickly open the chat when Mr.Ling walk out of the classroom.
'You must have finished your class by the time you check this.'
'I got you some tea leaves, I remembered you loved them.'
'The delivery should arrived by 5.00 pm today.'
'Tell me how you like it later.'
'And I will have a meeting later, no need to reply me.'
Bai Yi Yang saw this messages from Ah Qi and her lips cannot help but lifted up into a smile. He said no need to reply but she wanted reply back, she quickly take a picture of outside the class.
'My class has ended.' She add a smiling emoji together with the picture.
'I will enjoy it. Thanks.'
'Tell me when you are home.'
Bai Yi Yang ended her message there and get ready to return home. But, she didn't notice it but Bai Yi Chen is already sitting at the seat next to her and looking at her with probing look.
"Ge, you scare me." Bai Yi Yang said, she is a bit smarter and pretend to continue texting.
"Who are you texting this happily?" Bai Yi Chen ask.
"Zhu Yao jie. If you done, let's go." Bai Yi Yang said. She wave at some girls and also Su Long before walking out of the classroom with Bai Yi Chen.
Bai Yi Yang feels that she need to be more careful, Bai Yi Chen is quick to catch wind, she may get caught. Well, this is all Ah Qi fault, and partially her fault for being 16 years old.
Bai Yi Yang try very hard to be natural, she also warn Zhang Ming Ming not to talk about it when there are other people and she also can't tell any soul about it.
"Why are you so worried? I don't think Yi Chen is that narrow minded." That's what Zhang Ming Ming said. Well, that may be true if her boyfriend is a teenager like them, but Ah Qi is not.
Bai Yi Yang and Bai Yi Chen arrives at the village and they met Old Jin at Old Zhou's house. He seems very different, he seems happier than usual. His laugh is also louder, did something good happened to him recently?
"Eldest yatou, you are back?" Old Jin call Bai Yi Yang first this time before acknowledging Bai Yi Chen.
"Hello Grandpa Jin, Grandpa Zhou." Bai Yi Yang smile.
"The weather is hot. Drink more water and take care of your health." Old Jin said.
No matter how Bai Yi Yang see it, Old Jin is really behaving differently. The other Bai siblings didn't find it weird, only Bai Yi Yang did. If before the way he treat her is a bit stiff and awkward, now he genuinely wishing her good. Bai Yi Yang even have the illusion that he came here specifically to see her.
"You two should be less naughty, don't anger your eldest sister." Old Jin said to Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Fang.
"Jiejie doesn't get angry. It's er jiejie who is always angry." Bai Yi Mo said.
"Good, good. Go home now." Old Jin laugh and said this.
Bai Yi Yang and her siblings returned home and after a quick change of clothes, they all proceed with doing their own things.
At around 5.03 pm, the delivery guy arrived at their house. This is not the usual courier that send parcels around here. Bai Yi Yang look at their address on the lorry and they seems to be based in City Shan.
"Miss Bai Yi Yang?" The delivery guy in white and red shirt said.
"Yes." Bai Yi Yang nod.
"Please sign here." He hand over a tablet and a pen, Bai Yi Yang quickly sign on it.
"Thank you." Bai Yi Yang said receiving the box as big as shoe box.
"Have a nice day Miss." The delivery guy nod and drive away.
Bai Yi Yang bring the box inside and head to the kitchen. She look at the delivery details and saw that it is from City Shan, but there is no sender name. Bai Yi Yang prefer it that way, just in case her siblings is the one who receive it.
Bai Yi Yang open the paper box and inside is another exquisite wooden box, she slide it open and inside is 4 different type of tea leaves. She smell each one and love all of them. She quickly snap a picture and send it with a message.
'I love it.' She add an excited emoji at the end.
After that did she only start her woodworking. She is quite happy today, even when her small siblings returning with a mess, she don't feel that it is a problem at all, even helping them calm Bai Yi Ling down.
After dinner, she finally received a reply from Ah Qi.
'As long as you love it.'
'I am returning to meeting again.'
'I will text you tomorrow.'
Bai Yi Yang was going to reply it but then he wasn't online again. Even when Bai Yi Yang check before bed, Ah Qi hadn't open his chat since.
Bai Yi Yang sigh with a small smile. Ah Qi is really busy, what job is he doing if he need to have meetings at night too? Maybe his company is dealing with people who have different timeline, people overseas for example.
Anyway, today was great overall. She understand that Ah Qi is busy, she is not some lonely teenager who wanted to text and call 24 hours, so she also need to get use to this.
