Into the game as a noob

Imagine being thrust into a game you're terrible at—a deadly battle royale where the odds of survival are 1 to 2 percent. That's my reality.

I was a total noob at The Battlefield of Vexar, a mobile game my brother forced on me. It took me two months just to survive long enough to reach the top three.

Now, I’ve been transmigrated into it. The rules are simple: kill or be killed. The only way out is to reach rank 100, but with my zero skills and even worse social anxiety, the chances of that are a distant dream.

I'm a loner in a world where you have to stick with a team to survive. Every death is real, and every revival is a brutal reminder of the fight ahead. If I fail to reach the top 100, I’ll be trapped here forever, watching myself die over and over. And as if that wasn't enough, a player who looks like an angel but kills like a demon is constantly following me, and every rival is staring daggers.


Survival is more difficult here than in the game itself. How can a socially awkward noob with zero strength overcome this bloody battlefield?
