'A.I. chip, show me my current stats.'

'Now that I've reached the peak of rank 2 by consuming all those resources, I should make preparations for my breakthrough.' He thought.
During this past decade full of skrimishes, his guild's influence had reached new heights, not only that, his cultivation also made great advancements, now all he needed to do was go into seclusion for a while and then, he could become a rank 3 magus.
A rank 3 magus could be considered a top-tier existence in the current teilight zone. So once he reached tha realm, he could become the ruler of this place.
"Beth, make preparations for my secluded cultivation session." He instructed her through a voice transmission device.

In the dark elven empire,
The grand matriach was sitting on her throne while looking at a female dark elf who resembled her quite a lot.
"Lecia, look at me." She said in a monotone voice.
"Mother..." The dark elf, named Lecia looked at Enuci, her mother.
"The war is nearing an end, there is a very high chance that we will win, if we can do that, then we can ensure glory and prosperity for countless generations. But...I'm running out of lifespan." Enuci said with a voice filled with unwillingness.
Hearing this, Lecia's eyes teared up. She knew that her mother had used a forbidden technique which had consumed her lifespan by a lot and she also knew that her mediation technique would soon drain her remaining lifespan out of her as well.
This was one of the reasons why the grand matrich took an impulsive action like attacking the human race just a few years after the first war.
"What are your orders, mother?" She inquired after struggling to calm herself.
"If I die, and if we win this war, then rule this place to the best of your ability." Enuci finally gave out her orders with an expressionless face.
Seeing her mother act so cold, Lecia couldn't help but feel a sting in her heart. Although she understood that a leader must always be composed, although she had lived for almost a hundred years, but she still couldn't overlook the fact that the woman infront of her was her mother.
"I understand." Lecia couldn't say anything else and bowed her head until she hit the floor. This bow didn't have any speck of respect, but rather, was filled with pain and disappointment.
"You may go now."
Lecia didn't know what else to say and thus, she exited the hall. Soon after she left the place, she felt a burst of emotions in her heart.

The war continued for the next 2 months, the humans were suffering from immense losses as the leader of the eastern twilight zone's magi council, Leon had mysteriously died, the dark dawn guild used this time to increase their much more and become the force leading the human race in twilight zone.
The dark dawn guild's vice leader led the forces of the human race into war. Killing thousands of dark elven soldiers while taking hundreds of them as captives.
They killed their way through the previous territory of the kobold kingdom, turning the tables of the war.
The dark elven troops were attacked from central, southern and eastern twilight regions repectively. Causing them immense losses. One magi got especially famous for his cruel way of killing the elves.
Soon, the day came when the humans infiltrated the enemy bases and slughtered their way to their capital city.

In the capital city of the dark elven empire,
"Grand Matriach, the humans have infiltrated our capital. We have sent out our soldiers." A dark elf assasin reported the situation to Enuci in a hurried way.
"Good."
'I shall wait for their leader to show themselves.' She thought.
She knew that they must take immediate action is they don't wish to be slaves for their entire lives.

A mass of dark light was making its way to the dark elven capital at an unimaginable speed. It looked as if it was a meteor.
Soon, it arrived at its destination but it didn't stop and,
*Bam*
It crased into the royal castle of the dark elves. Destroying all defensive formations.
*Buzz*
"Gaah..." Sounds of gasps left the mouths of people present in the castle as all of them died due to the terrifying radiation emmited by a rank 3 magus.
This magus was Tirus. He had waited for this final moment for years. Currently, his appearance was obscured by dense black fog. One could only see his black sword that he was holding in his right hand.
"Where are you, 'grand matriach'?" He said in a tone filled with sarcasm.
"What gall." The voice of a woman resounded as a green arrow with corrosive properties was shot towards him at a high speed.
Tirus's skin turned ashen gray as he used his ashen gray zombie form and a black bone armor manifested itself on his body.
*Shii*
The green arrow couldn't pierce through his chest. It didn't even make a scratch on the bone armor.
"Hmph! Is that all you can do?" Tirus mocked her as he threw tens of ordinary looking marbles at her.
The grand matriach, Enuci didn't dare to take this attack lightly and erected a barrier.
*Boom*
*Boom*
*Boom*
Sounds of huge explosions could be heard as the marbles exploded one after another. These marbles were turned into explosives by Tirus using his rank 2 innate spell.
"Is this your trump card?" Enuci mocked while preparing more spells.
Both let their radiation flow without any restraint and a grand battle of attrition ensued.
"Tune of Death."
Soon, a strange sound started being emmitted from Tirus.
"...Gaah..." Enuci coughed up a mouthful of blood and she started bleeding from all of her orificies.
"What...what is this...spell!" She exclaimed in horror as she felt her blood flow in the opposite direction.
'Oh, this is a spell that utilizes wind energy particles and creates a sound that makes your blood flow in the wrong direction, killing the target within 10 seconds.' Tirus felt the strong urge to explain this spell of his to her like a cheap villain, but supressed this urge and appeared beside her to execute a special technique.
"I have my trumpcards as well." Enuci said as a dmile appeared on her face. Roots started growing all over her body as green coloured specs of light started gathering around her.

In the kingdom,
"Aah, save me." Screams of thousands of rank 1 dark elven magi resounded as a woman in red robes burned everything around her
This woman was none other than Beth, who was now burning the dark elves mercilessly.
"Stop." Beth murmured as all the dark elves, regardless of their cultivation realm, felt a strong supression upon themselves, as if they no longer had any control over their own bodies.
"Die, demon." The voice of a dark elven girl resounded in the ears of everyone as a purple electric giant appeared in the air.
'Oh, it dosen't work on you?' Beth thought in surprise. Being able to intimidate any living creature weaker than her in cultivation would allow her to easily supress them, and this innate spell of hers didn't work on this little dark elf, then it meant that either this elf was stronger than her, or that she was using some rare treasure.
'I'll find the reason for this myself.' She said internally as a smrik appeared on her face.
"Bone Dragon."
Suddenly, a figure of an illusory bone dragon appeared behind Beth with its eyes burninf with fury.
