Chapter 20: For the Future

"Is that a fanny pack?" my father asked as I took a seat at the Illuminati table, "And what the hell did you do to your eyes?"

"It's…hrrrrmmm… yes it is." I sighed, finally giving up defending my choice in storage, its not like super suits have pockets, "And the eyes are results from a full sensory suite overhaul I built during the thousands of years I was gone last month conquering another universe."

"Thousands of years this time? How much bigger was this universe than the Flaxan Dimension?" Nolan inquired while the other members took their seats.

"Full sized universe comparable to this one." I smiled, "Fortunately there were six stones that served as the keys to the universe and four of them were on their Earth within a decade of my arrival. The other two delivered themselves to me via another seeker. Once I was the god of the universe I spent the rest of my time there in study, training, and taking an example of everything in that place worth having."

I laughed and then pulled out a series of data drives, "On these drives you will find information on all the projects that will be integrated into the Earth Utopia System. We've got everything from soil studies to how an intergalactic empire of blue people outsource their leadership decision making to an AI, so there is something for everyone in their given fields."

I pulled up a few prepared display slides using the room's virtual intelligence interface, "As you can all see, with the integration of Marvel Tech our projected ideal solutions have all shifted drastically and our timetables have moved forward significantly. You will shortly receive support from a new generation of Viltrumite engineers, and within a year the first of a new breed will join us, by that time we will have all the infrastructure in place to fully develop and secure this star system."

The Purple Horde, the Thraxan Viltrumite hybrids bred in the Alpha Centauri System, the last piece of the puzzle. In the Comics, Thragg bred an army using the short lived bug-women then treated his offspring as fodder - at times hurling them as projectiles to shatter against the enhanced body of post Atom Eve plot armor fuckery Mark. This is such a gross misuse of the Thraxan Viltrumites who maintain their Thraxan near clairvoyance that allowed the bug-people to develop an advanced civilization despite only living for nine Earth months.

My Purple Horde learned at incredible speed during their early development with decreasing return on investment as they move through adolescence before they finally become low tier Viltrumites upon reaching adulthood. Though not as physically powerful as more pure Viltrumites, the Thraxan Hybrids more than make up for it in intelligence, and I have millions of the buggers… hehe… in a beyond belief accelerated learning program designed to pump out the future of the Empire's Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math fields.

With their technical minds and physical power and multi-environment survivability they'd develop the two systems under our control in this universe within just a few short years, using Marvel and Thraxan Tech to secure them from all external threats.

Till then Kate and I were in charge of developing the infrastructure needed to put the Purple Horde to immediate use, and my partner and her army of clones proved a damn near ideal workforce. Together we built a number of orbital elevators and platforms, assisted by an army of drones that both handled the detail work and cleared the space around the Earth of all the nonfunctional spacecraft, abandoned launch vehicle stages, mission-related debris, and fragmentation debris.

The first of the Purple Horde arrived in a mile long supercarrier via an artificial worm hole, a million strong. A million purple skinned kids the size of five year olds capable of hundred plus ton lifts with graduate degrees and freakish on the job skill acquisition.

Then we received another shipment the next month, and the next, and the one after that, and so on and so forth. We will have completely converted the population of the planet within five years and in the multifaceted eyes of the bug-people we aren't doing it fast enough. They view the hybrids as their species ascending to near godhood. The idea that a Thraxan baby could live to see an entire millennia pass where before a single year was impossible has put the species into a bit of a frenzied fever for the True Gift of the Viltrumite Empire.

Even the males are clamoring for my descendants to rail the females faster.

My sons and grandsons are adrift in a sea of pussy… God it is good to be me.

With the Purple Horde on board we ramped up production and soon had orbital platforms over Mars and the moons of Jupiter starting our terraforming projects. What about the Martians one might wonder, well within twenty hours of an elite diplomatic team arriving on world I was signing a petition of vassalage with the new King of Mars who ended his predecessors former horrific institution of xeno-enslavement, and welcomed in a new brighter future for Martian people hand in hand with humanity under the protection of Viltrum.

They obviously had no reason to reject temporary relocation to Earth while we turned their ball of dust into a new garden world? Who wouldn't want their planet to become a pristine and perfect paradise?

Of course, this period of focus during my life was interrupted several times by abdications and coronations in the Flaxan Dimension when Cassiopeia in a bout of 'I want to be like Daddy' left the throne to her oldest son Marius, who then ten months later abdicated for the ascension of his son Hector, who ten months later abdicated for the ascension of his daughter, Hermione.

It was fucking weird having a thousand years of history happen every ten months, but at least I had Cassiopeia along with me for the ride as she not only quit the throne, but quit the whole Flaxan Dimension itself. She had grown incredibly bored of the Golden Age the Neo-Viltrumite Empire entered during the first half of her rule, and found the hustle and bustle of the Actually Invincible-Verse nostalgic - reminding her of her childhood when I was first founding the empire and working all the kinks out.

Cassiopeia really proved to be Daddy's girl when we went to the Marvel Universe and she used the Mind Stone to augment her mental resilience, becoming the first person I care about willing to let a semi-sentient stone adjust her mental faculties. It was fucking rad, and I don't know why anyone would possibly object to something like that. Like at all. I can't think of a single reason why anyone wouldn't want the Mind Stone in their head.

Anyway, with the Mind Stone shielding Cassiopeia I now had a partner for all my spicier research into subjects such as the Darkhold, the All-Black, and the corpses of Knull and Ego. The Celestial Research was going nowhere fast… hehe…. Nowhere, and the Darkhold gave out its secrets faster than a hooker tells men how special they are, but the All-Black and Knull research was where we started hitting paydirt into a field hitherto obscured: divinity.

Researching Knull and some samples taken from my Asgardian descendants and some time with the Darkhold resulted in the Vial of Black Blood, and a few other lesser products. The Vial of Black Blood became my most precious possession, always calling to me. It wanted me to drink it, but I held off. The black rituals used to produce it left the powerful taint of corruption in it, far greater than any other product in this line of research not only because of the far greater source of the Vial of Black Blood, but due to its own compatibility with the evil of the Darkhold.

I had an idea on that, completely crazy of course… but so crazy it just might work.
