Chapter 57: Here's Your Flower!

*Yawn!*

It was certainly good to be able to lay down and sleep on a bed... As it was already morning, I woke up and prepared myself.

The moment I head downstairs, I could smell the food aroma coming from the kitchen. It must be Elina cooking us some breakfast, could be her mother as well... Who knows.

I went ahead to take a bath as there's no one using it at the moment. But before I take out my clothes first, it probably has been dry enough... as I couldn't just keep asking Elina to lend some of her clothes. That will just increase my debt.

I do know that the hospitality that Elina's giving me right now was a way for her to pay me back on retrieving the Flower of Eve. But when I give it a thought, Elina doesn't need to pay me back for anything at all like the one that wanted the Flower of Eve wasn't her, it was Tim.

So the one that should be doing that was Tim, not Elina at all... That's why I don't one to trouble her anymore and also, I doubt that Elina and I would be meeting with each other that often.

As I will be really busy and of course even if we met, we had nothing to talk about as the only thing that makes us close was because of the Flower of Eve. But after I had delivered the flower to Tim, surely our relation wouldn't be as close anymore.

After that, I took a bath and ate the breakfast that Elina had prepared. Both of us then head to Tim's shop... to give Tim the Flower of Eve that he desperately wanted for him not to be kicked out of the town.

But again, I do wonder how all of that happened. I don't think that the Earl would just kick someone as important as Tim was... surely the people of this town would defend Tim as he's the town healer after all. I feel like there's a reason why the Earl wanted Tim to cure his son's sickness...

Maybe I should ask Tim what really happened between him at the Earl... of course, if he would be willing to tell me the reason. If not, that would be fine as long as Tim rewards me for my hard work at least.

Because it wasn't that easy for me to obtain that flower... Also that Tim didn't mention anything about the Flower of Eve special conditions, if I just pluck it out... surely Tim wouldn't be getting his flower at all. It's all thanks to Miya's warning that I was able to bring it back to the town safely.

Just like usual, there's a lot of people waiting in line to get their examination. Well here comes the part that I hate to do... that was cutting in those lines. I just hate being glared at as if we did something wrong here.

I am amazed that Elina doesn't care about that sort of stuff at all, she simply just barges in the place without even saying anything towards the people that are waiting here.

"Tim! Are you there..." Elina shouted.

A few seconds later... Tim then shouted back telling Elina to wait outside the room as he's currently treating somebody.

In a couple of minutes after that, the patient that Tim treated got out of the room as the patient's treatment was already done, meaning that we could already enter the room.

Elina gently opens the door of the room and enters first as I follow behind...

"Elina? What brought you here today... it's pretty unusual for you-" Tim stopped talking after he saw me walking into the room as well.

"I think you could already guess why I am here today right?" Elina said that towards Tim.

"It can't be... there's no way you could retrieve the Flower of Eve this fast" He paused for a bit as Tim was in utter disbelief at the moment. "I know! You might want to quit the job as it's too hard... that's why-"

I don't know why Tim was having a hard time believing it, Elina on the other hand easily believed that I had done it. Well, I suppose different people had a different reaction to stuff...

"You better believe it, Tim..." Elina then looks at me, "Yei shows Tim the Flower of Eve."

"I think it's better to prepare a pot first... as it wouldn't be just the flower that I will be bringing up."

Hearing that, Elina then quickly searched for a pot in the room and found one lying around the shelves. How convenient... to be able to find a pot that quickly.

With that, I then hold out my palm and place it on top of the pot. I simply could just take it out right now but it would be weird without doing any incantations as this is a fantasy/magical world.

Besides... I already told Elina that I am using some sort of magical storage device given by the members of Azure Templar to store the Flower of Eve. So the incantations would be necessary as it would look kinda fake...

"By the power of space and time, remove Flower of Eve from the inventory!" I said that.

It doesn't go as well as I planned, my incantations look really fake... But I guess that doesn't matter because both Elina and Tim seem to be amazed at the Flower of Eve that suddenly materializes inside the pot.

I thought that the flower would be degraded by staying in my storage but it seems like nothing would happen to it. That's a good thing to know because the bread that I place in the storage doesn't seem to be new anymore...

Well, I guess that must be because it was a food-type thing... that's why it could go bad. But if it was other than that... it should be fine I suppose.
