Though isekai has been a degrading trope these days, Ishura has been able to create an action packed experience with a colorful cast of bizarre individuals with a variety of skills. It’s world building and magic system is an intriguing one, and I would gush about how the author interpreted the hero/demon king trope if it weren’t for spoilers. An assortment of overpowered individuals, and a series of political intrigue. Though it may feel stagnant at the start with the introduction of characters, it only helps to fuel the imagination on how such battles between these shuras would be, and also assists in understanding the extensive cast. If you want to see a swarm of asuras during it out, this novel is for you. If you want dense and meticulous plot, this is also for you. SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE OVER THE TRANSLATION I WANT TO CONTINUE READING THIS. I really can’t stop gushing about how the author created the concept of an ultimate fear… It was unexpected but a very very welcome one.
