Chapter 162: Action
While Rias, Sona, Akeno and Azazel were planning on how to deal with Hades' Grim Reapers effectively. The others were talking with each other in a relaxing manner.
Everyone needed this. Without Issei, the morale of the group has been down in the dumps and everyone is trying their best to keep their hopes up.
They knew that Issei would be back, they just didn't know when and how he was going to do that. One thing is for sure, they're going to miss him a lot.
Koneko and Kuroka were rebuilding their relationship bit by bit. Asia was praying while Kiba was on the lookout for any Grim Reapers that tried to ambush them. Ravel was in the process of creating a large barrier of invisibility that hides their magical signatures so that no one would know that the oncoming battle was going to happen.
"How strong do you think Issei was?" Vali asked Azazel.
"He defeated Sirzechs and barely handled Ophis when she was actually trying to defeat him. Not to mention fighting Great Red before he even attained his Angel-Devil hybrid form. I think that shows how strong he is. " Azazel replied. Vali sighed.
" It seems I have a lot of catching up to do. When can I ever match his strength with mine? " Vali asked out loud. Azazel patted her shoulder.
" Hey, you don't need to pull yourself down like that. You don't need to match your achievements with his. Be your own person, Vali. You're strong in your own right and no one can tell you otherwise. " Azazel motivated her. Vali smiled at him a little.
"They're here." Kiba reported. Everyone got up and prepared for battle. Everyone looked up at the sky and saw creepy guys floating in the sky. They were wearing black robes looking down at them.
Only their eyes were glittering and emitting killing intent and hostility. Each one had a big scythe in their hands, with a very bad taste of accessories on it. They had things such as skulls or monster hands on them.
There was a large horde of them. "There's like thousands of them. How expendable are they?" Sona muttered.
" No, the real question is how strong are we for Hades to send this much just for us? " Rias asked.
" No time to think about it. Let's end this once and for all!! " Azazel declared and clapped his hands together.
Suddenly, a gigantic amount of light spears appeared above where the army of Grim Reapers were. The light spears blasted towards the army.
Some were unfortunate enough to be killed in the barrage. The others used teleportation by dispersing their bodies, that left behind a black afterimage.
The army was separated now. "Change of plans! The old one can go fuck itself! Everyone! Use everything to destroy them all!! " Azazel shouted and unsheathed his artificial Sacred Gear, the Down Fall Dragon Spear. Le Fay looked at Irina and Xenovia.
"Alright. Best of luck to you two! " Le Fay smiled at them to which they nodded back with a serious look. The two fighters sank into the magic circle. Le Fay quickly joined back in the fight.
She summoned hundreds of large magic circles that shot out thousands of fire balls at once. The Grim Reapers who had quickly regrouped were once again separated in order to dodge the waves of fireballs.
Azazel went in on his own. He flew up to them and started massacring a group of Grim Reapers with his spear.
Akeno and Sona joined him by flying with their own wings. The two spotted another small group of Grim Reapers charging towards them.
Sona landed on the ground and stomped on it. Suddenly, a large pillar made out of water shot out of the ground and engulfed the group of Grim Reapers.
Sona spun her hand a little, controlling the water. The pillar of water froze, turning into an idle ice pillar. The Grim Reapers engulfed by ut were now frozen in it.
Akeno appeared and floated above the ice pillar. She stretched out her right hand and a yellow solid lightning bolt appeared. She grabbed it and threw it at the pillar.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!*
The lightning bolt exploded when it came in contact with the ice pillar. Akeno landed on the ground gracefully. She and Sona smiled at each other and went back to fighting.
Meanwhile with Rias, she, Koneko, Kuroka and Gasper were on a killing spree. Gasper froze a small group of Grim Reapers with Forbidden Balor View, Koneko and Kuroka jumped in and killed them all swiftly with only one punch to each of their solar plexus.
The Grim Reapers didn't realize they were dead until Gasper looked away. They proceeded to fall to the ground.
"Buchou, we got this! You go help the others!" Koneko told her. Rias nodded and flew off.
She summoned a circle of small swords made out of the Power Of Destruction. The swords were then sent out. Rias guided each of them to a Grim Reaper.
She killed them, she killed them all. Skeletal arms made out of her Power Of Destruction popped out from her back.
It created a giant bow on it's right hand and an arrow on it's left. It prepared to fire. Kiba rushed from behind her with Godspeed.
He targeted a large group of Grim Reapers and quickly binded them in their place with The Immovable.
"Now, Rias!!!" Kiba shouted. Rias narrowed her eyes.
"Extinction Arrow!!!!"
The arrow was shot towards the group of Grim Reapers and exploded immediately.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!*
There were none who survived the explosion. After her attack, the Grim Reapers' numbers have diminished to half.
The rest was history, they quickly went on to kill the one's left. No one escape, Kiba made sure none did with The Teleport. Anyone who tried were forcefully teleported to him and cut down by Kiba.
Azazel finished killing the last one with his Down Fall Dragon Spear. He looked around and saw dead bodies lying everywhere on the battlefield.
"This is exactly why I want peace, Hades. You just don't want the world to change." Azazel muttered. Suddenly, he widened his eyes and turned around.
*BAAAM!!!!!*
Azazel was punched straight in the nose. He was blasted back. Azazel quickly recovered while tumbling and stabbed the spear he was holding into the ground.
The spear slowly stopped him from flying away. He quickly stood up and looked at his attacker. He widened his eyes as he saw who it was.
"Pluto, an Ultimate-Class Grim Reaper." He whispered.
Pluto's appearance was always dressed in a black robe, but his robe was darker from all the other Grim Reapers to show his authority as one of Hades Generals.
His black robe was decorated with ornaments making his appearance appear to be a Dark, Disoriented Clown, with a Creepy Mask that lied across his face. You could prefer him to as The Clown Of The Dead.
Pluto's Scythe is the darkest Scythe of all the grim reapers, from the blade to the handle were deteriorating hands and tentacles that looked as if they were freshly cut off the flesh of a person of a dead man in which had wrapped all around his dark scythe.
Pluto stretched his hands out in a welcoming manner.
"This is my first time seeing you, Governor-dono of the Fallen-Angels. I am one of the Grim Reapers that serves under Hades-sama. My name is Pluto, otherwise known as the one who's going to kill you.....
