Chapter 2: Divorce on the second day

It was 5 o'clock, something like a biological clock was simply scary. In her last life, she couldn't even wake up at 7 a.m.

She did not have to cook as the chief had servants who did all the works for him. She dressed in a yellow Lehenga which had red embroidery, a pair of red sandals, she liked to keep her hair loose but she couldn't act like it was her home so she styled her hair in a one-sided fishtail braid which reached her waist.

She completed her look with gold earrings and stepped out of the room confidently.

When she reached the dining-room she saw her father-in-law (for the first time).

"Good morning father" She spoke calmly, the pressure this man was emitting was no joke.

"Hmm..." Acknowledging her greetings he started moving towards the door.

Shyamlal was a man in his 50's, he was a single father. He did not remarry after his wife died of an illness and single-handedly raised his son who was just 4 years old then. He loved his son dearly but his manner of expressing love was a little different, he did not allow his son to interact with common people and sent him far away from the village to the capital city so that he could gain knowledge and experience in one of the most prestigious schools. But that did not turn out to be right and now he had his son marry this village girl forcibly.

Shyamlal asked Sesha to sit in the tonga where her luggage was already loaded and asked her to leave 'Wow! this man did not even talk to me!' not that she wanted to talk to him either.

"Take care of my son" after saying this Shyamlal simply left from there and headed for his room. He was aware that his days were numbered but did not wish to let anyone notice it.

~~~~~~
The tonga driver knew about the residence in the city so she did not have to worry about getting lost in an unknown city. She completely abandoned the plan of fleeing; firstly she did not know anything about this world even if it looked like the past of her own country it was more likely to be a parallel world.
Secondly, she would have to hide her identity and live in hiding for her whole life which wasn't acceptable.
"Young Madam we have arrived" The driver announced.
Sesha took a deep breath and stepped down the carriage. It was a two-story bungalow with a spacious garden. The garden was well taken care of, her eyes landed on a figure standing at the door. He looked like a teenager but before she could observe him more he ran inside the villa.
She could guess the identity of the boy, sighing to herself she lifted her right leg and entered her new home. She hoped that in this life she would find her happy ending.
~~~~~~~~~~~

It has been two days since she came to this world, today she met Veer for the first time. A 15-year-old with black hair, an average height of 168 cm, decent features, and polite behaviour (not exactly). He was in studying at Witty academy, currently in eighth grade. The name of the school was ridiculous enough for her to burst into a laugh but sesha held it in.

"Look, I know we are married but I will never treat you as a wife"

'Whatever blah blah blah' despite her inner thoughts Sesha had a heartbroken appearance. Her voice quivered "Why?" '

"Just look at you!" Veer said with undisguised disgust.

Sesha visibly shook, "why did you marry me then?" Her eyes were red, with her head down to others it might look like she was crying but only she knew that it was anger and resentment. She did not want to breathe the same air as this bastard.

"Who do you think you are to question me? I do not care about what you feel and what you don't... these are divorce papers sign them"

'Isn't it the legendary scene when the male lead divorces his wife to marry the love of his life? Awwwww. How cringe!' As expected this guy was a dimwit.

After signing the divorce paper, Ramu kaka the servant uncle led her to the guest room. She did not have to unpack her stuff because she would leave this 'home' too.

Academy had a rule that all students irrespective of gender or background must stay in the campus dorms as long as they studied there.

It was one in the afternoon, 15Y/O Veer's behaviour was very disappointing, 'How can he say that I am a country bumpkin! Man do you even know how much this outfit would have cost in my last life. It is fine craftsmanship, plus it is handmade! HANDMADE!'

"URGGH!" Sesha was irritated.... 'have I done anything else except being irritated since I came here?'

[AUTHOR: no -_-! ]

Sesha, in the first place, was married to Veer so that she could keep a check on his personal life and prevent him from going astray. She was admitted to the same class but in a different division. But now since she had divorced him she had no obligations towards him.

The divorce stated that she would act with him to fool his father till highschool graduation and then she was free to do whatever she pleased.

" *sigh* Am I going to start from 8th grade, its good after all those years are the best years of life anyways"

"It is already noon I can't believe that this is all true and I'm living my life once again" Lying down on the soft mattress Sesha observed her small and calloused hand which was the result of hard labouring since childhood. 'It must've been hard.'

Sesha was tired out by the long journey and fell asleep, by the time she woke up it was dinner time. She felt quite refreshed.

*knock knock*

"come in" looking up to Ramu kaka she asked, "what happened?"

He hesitated for a minute and then asked, "dinner is ready would you like to eat downstairs or should I bring it up in your room?"

"No, I would like to eat my food in the room" Even if she was a retard she would never want to face that psycho downstairs. It was not that she was afraid of him but was rather afraid that she would 'accidentally' murder someone and then would have to go to prison at such a young age...
