Chapter 11: Chapter 11: [Foo Fighters]

~Soul POV~

After evading the gangsters from the Luck of the Mountains place, I don't need to bring attention to myself but look at me somehow maybe pissing off one of possibly a crime syndicate wasn't the brightest of ideas.

Not like I had a choice in the manner because I was dragged there, to begin with. Whatever the case may be I hope it was worth it to get a combative Stand like [Foo Fighters] on my list.

Already blending in with the crowd trying to hide my appearance with some clothes covering my facial expressions I made my way through the Mistral Lower Level of the place. I need to find some methods to get to the upper levels if this is what I have to work with.

Moving around the lower levels I managed to finally find a hotel in this place as I made some time to reserve myself a room. Surprisingly enough though spending a week here amounted to about 1000 Lien something I was in a hurry to agree with.

I didn't care if I was scammed all I cared was safety first.

I wanted a place to stay for a while, so I agreed with the landlord of the Hotel amount as he gave me the process and such as I got the keys to my room. Room number 34 ironically enough as I began to go ahead.

I can worry about food later as I need a way to strengthen myself first and learn the chance to do Hamon or Ripple which one you call it. But whatever the case is I still need to be strong to do it and [Foo Fighters] will help me do just that.

*Beep*

And talking about cliché timings and some firepower it's about time I get what I needed from this mission.

[Mission: Enter the Spider Den (Complete)

Description: You have been invited by one of Spider a criminal syndicate/organization goon wanting to steal your money and belongings. Your chance to escape from this is thin to unlikely with the wariness of the gang war beginning this week with the revival of Parrot Gang. Your objective is to leave the area as soon as possible from the Luck of the Mountains.

Rewards: 1500 Lien, Blueprints of Revolver Bullets, and [Foo Fighters].]

[Rewards are transferred]

Going through my bag I can finally get out my Hamon Manual along with some blueprints on how to create some revolver types bullets from my world. Nice I was wondering how I was going to recreate them.

Now then time to check out my current status on the Stands I recently just got.

[Host: Soul Silver

Semblance: (Locked)

Stand: [Harvest]

Lien: 1,750

Missions: 4 Complete…

Sub-Missions: None

Ultimate Challenge: (Locked)

Spare Stands: [The Cure], [Foo Fighters]]

Sweet.

Looks like I finally have another Stand added to the rooster now that I have some actual fighting power for a change of pace.

Thank goodness and here I was running away from my fights so far as it was too much for me to handle on my lonesome.

Now then let's see this [Foo Fighters] powers-up, shall I?

[Stand: Foo Fighters

Destructive Power: B, Speed: A, Range: C

Stamina: A, Precision: C, Developmental Potential: B

Foo Fighters takes two main appearances. Naked, it is a tall, dark, robotic humanoid of masculine proportions, and an alien visage meant to resemble something insectoid or reptilian. It has the appearance of a chameleon, a mutant, or a space alien, and also possibly resembles an alternate version of [Hierophant Green].

Foo Fighters is a unique fusion of a plankton colony and Stand. It is able in close combat and possesses a set of useful abilities. Although Foo Fighters is particularly resilient to physical attacks, it is very dependent on a constant water supply to keep the colony in water and breaks down the moment it is dehydrated.

[Plankton Colony Form]: Foo Fighters' peculiar nature as a sentient colony of plankton gives it several abilities.

First and foremost, Foo Fighters' nature means that it has no physical weakness. There is no limb to hurt or vital point to strike to kill it and thus it is impervious to conventional attacks. Only by damaging the whole colony can Foo Fighters be threatened.

As a hive mind, Foo Fighters can produce sub-bodies by splitting the colony into several like-minded but independent parts. This ability allows Foo Fighters to effectively fight multiple opponents and generally act stealthily in the middle of battle.

Even if a large majority of the plankton dies, only one needs to survive for Foo Fighters to be able to regenerate. As long as there is water, the plankton colony can rapidly multiply, creating a new part of Foo Fighters rapidly and giving it great regeneration ability. With enough water, Foo Fighters can even cover a whole room and use its mass to attack.

It also means that ordinary humans can see the body. On the other hand, Foo Fighters is extremely susceptible to dehydration. If its moisture is sucked away by dry matter, the plankton colony rapidly dies and will disappear. Foo Fighters thus need constant access to water to survive.

[Body Invasion]: By infiltrating someone's body, Foo Fighters can take over their consciousness and have access to their memories. That way, it can wear their skin as a disguise to infiltrate human society.

It can also shape its host to its liking and contort itself beyond what a human can do. The parasitism allows Foo Fighters to survive without a constant intake of water, but it reduces its agility. Moreover, it becomes susceptible to bleeding out and losing moisture anyway.

The plankton can help seal wounds, preventing someone from bleeding out and potentially saving them from dying.

[Water Control]: Foo Fighters can manipulate water to some extent.

[Plankton Shot]: Inside a host, Foo Fighters can shoot small parts of themselves as if it was using a gun. The bits of plankton colony can invade someone's body and take control of it. The shots have enough strength to pierce through the skin.]

Whew… I have a lot to work with on this one. And this is exactly the Stand I happen to need at this moment with its abilities.

Sure, it pretty much sucks by itself as to how it is and it needs a lot of water to make it work… but that is what makes this Stand useful to me right now!

Going towards the bathroom inside the hotel I was in I began to turn on the sink water as I began to call upon my [Foo Fighters] as the water from the sink began to bubble up bringing up the stand in question in full sight as it looked at me.

Perfect.

Reading the abilities of [Foo Fighters] as well as remembering the great benefits of its ability inside a host it can become quite the useful ally to have for anyone. Think of it like Venom from Marvel as I can have [Foo Fighters] help operate in my body.

And to make this perfect it goes well with my Hamon in the process.

Just like the details of [Body Invasion] it won't take a need of intake of constant need of water anymore only decreased in agility. That's something I can give up for it to be useful in my body to help it become sturdier as I grow but also help me use Hamon faster.

Breath and blood are connected! Blood carries oxygen from the lung! And the oxygen in the blood is connected to the cells! Cells equal body…

The Ripple or also called Hamon is energy used in the ancient form of martial arts.

Through self-controlled respiration, a trained person can produce energy manifesting as ripples throughout their body that is identical to the energy of the Sun, in polar opposition to the energy exerted by Vampires, Zombies, and the Pillar Men.

The Ripple is energy identical to the Sun's rays, which the human body can produce through controlled breathing, having the effect of producing ripples of energy propagating from the bloodstream to the rest of the body and other objects in contact with it. The Ripple manifests itself as electricity-like sparks, and it can be seen by ordinary humans.

Ripple can also affect non-living things. An object charged with Ripple energy will have one or several attributes enhanced by the energy, making it a more effective tool, or weapon. Liquids conduct the Hamon especially well and the user's Ripple shows on liquids as actual ripples.

Anybody can technically produce Hamon. However, Will Anthonio Zeppeli explains that only one in ten thousand can be a Hamon user in practice. Due to its identical nature to the positive energy of the Sun, Hamon's primary uses are to heal various wounds or ailments, and combat creatures such as vampires or zombies.

Living organisms can be affected by Ripple attacks but are not automatically hurt by them.

For instance, Will A. Zeppeli healed Jonathan Joestar's broken arm while Caesar Zeppeli used his Ripple to control a woman into fighting Joseph, and Joseph's trained Ripple would have caused an ordinary person to experience pins and needles-feeling before fainting - similar to symptoms experienced after prolonged exposure to the sun's rays.

Ripple is transferable between people, as both Will A. Zeppeli and his grandson Caesar transferred their Hamon to the protagonists they were aiding shortly before their deaths. Ripple users can reject harmful substances inside of them by ejecting them from their bloodstream with the use of Hamon energy.

Producing the Ripple also preserves the user's vitality, making them look more youthful and be more energetic even during old age although this method has limits.

To produce an optimized Ripple, users must precisely control the energy produced by their breathing. It typically requires focusing the energy before unleashing it all at once to create a powerful burst of Ripple.

But with [Foo Fighters] inside my body controlling my blood is about 80% water it can help me in the long run of things to quickly achieve Ripple early to use. After all the Joestars had to train to be able to use the Ripple/Hamon fighting style to make it work.

Plus, I have a Venom look-alike with me to help me against some problems and sort of heal me in the process. A bonus would be the fact that [Foo Fighters] will help me out using my body blood or nearby water sources to help fight.

And if I get bandage up I'll use [The Cure] to help me get back to tip-top shape.

Now then…

My stand [Foo Fighters] stood there as I simply nodded at it as I soon blacked out with the stand dispersing entering me…

A/N: Question for anyone wondering but do you think [Foo Fighters] is a good Stand compatible with Ripple/Hamon. Also, would you like to read the character mentioning Hamon or Ripple throughout the story?

A/N Extra: Also did anyone notice that [Foo Fighters] is similar to Venom in Marvel both having parasitic abilities?
