Besides that, the diary was very explicit about one thing: Iron Monger Stane was Big Tony's "first" arch-enemy. Emphasis on "first", which means there will be plenty more enemies for Big Tony to face in the future! Of course, Big Tony wasn't too concerned with this aspect; a man as brilliant and stylish as him would naturally make quite a few enemies, both openly and in secret. It's only the mediocre ones who go unnoticed.
Big Tony didn't care about the number of enemies he had. No matter how many there were, he was determined to crush them all beneath his feet! However, when it came to Stane... Tony Stark intended to figure out what was really going on. After all, this man was not just anybody to Tony Stark; he did hold a certain significance.
But what about now? The "great piece of crap" of armor was only half-built, and I've directly taken the blueprints! Even the members of the Ten Rings have all been killed, including that bald guy who was colluding with Obadiah!
This is insane! Obadiah will definitely not be able to become the Iron Monger now, which means that key battle will never happen! Weird, with my interference, does this mean Iron Man is dead in the water? This really is a case of plans not keeping up with changes! It seems like betting on Stark Industries' stock will have to be put on hold.
Wait a minute! Tony Stark's complexion suddenly turned grave and ugly. Stane was secretly colluding with the Ten Rings? It must be said, this was something Tony Stark could never have anticipated.
After all, who is Obadiah Stane? Apart from Big Tony himself, no one had more power and influence within Stark Industries than Stane. But it's not necessarily all bad news. Even if Obadiah doesn't become the Iron Monger, it's only a matter of time before word gets out about Obadiah selling weapons to the terrorists. With his character, Big Tony won't sit idly by; he will surely create the Iron Man suit and secretly destroy those weapons sold by Obadiah.
It was actually Stane! Tony Stark felt a sudden weight in his heart. If the previous diary entries described the collusion in indirect terms, this segment plainly and directly identifies the person selling weapons to terrorists from within Stark Industries as Obadiah Stane! It was the very Stane whom Big Tony always held in great respect!And if that's the case...
Tony Stark simply cannot sit back and ignore this; he must stop Stane!
How to stop him?
His journal seemingly pointed him towards a clear path, one that even the great Tony highly agreed with.
He surely could create an Iron Man suit to destroy all the weapons that had fallen into the hands of the terrorists!
The weapons manufactured by Stark Industries were not intended for scum to wreak havoc on society!
Tony Stark's gaze began to turn firm.
For the first time in his life, Tony Stark felt that his existence had a purpose beyond being a playboy and living the high life.
[So, even without that battle, some things cannot be changed.]
[Iron Man would probably still be active in the city, still catching Nick Fury's attention!]
[He would likely still be recruited by the heroic Egghead into the Avengers.]
[Only, whether he would still obtain the title 'Iron Man' might not be so certain.]
Nick Fury?
Tony Stark's heart stirred, and he fell into deep thought.
That name seemed very familiar.
He was sure he had seen it somewhere before.
But where?
The playboy frowned slightly and began to think deeply.
"Jarvis!"
