A thousand years have passed… After rescuing an orphan, freshly awoken Liu Liangzhe must return to his mountain home so that he can begin the process of mentorship with his new young charge. Meanwhile, the Wood Sect leader’s youngest son, Shu Zhijing, is blackmailed into searching for his long lost nephew after having previously failed the task years earlier. During his hunt, he must deal with the common people in need, his hateful brother, and his dying father.
