Chapter 11: Practical class 2
Seizing this chance Maki brought down her sword, cutting its other arm. Purple blood spluttered from its arm.
But she didn't notice it as she was fully absorbed in the fight. She quickly advanced towards the curse as both of its hand was not usable.
After entering a close range, she swung her sword into the curse's neck. The curse hurriedly evaded. This was the first time, it made this large of a movement in this first.
As it was only standing in place wildly swinging its arms. But Maki made a reverse arc with her sword swinging it backwards. The sword smoothly entered through the curse slicing it.
Blood splattered everywhere as Maki stood in the middle, lightly bathing in it. As she was very absorbed in the fight earlier, she was not affected by the blood.
But now bathing in it, she was disgusting and made a retching motion but nothing came out. Toge showed a thumbs up to Maki and went to the other room and checked for any curses.
After confirming that there were no other curses, they swiftly exited the building as Maki started grumbling.
"Argh, I am feeling so uncomfortable right now. I want to get a good bath and remove this disgusting blood off me" Maki complained as Toge didn't know how to respond.
When they exited the building, they noticed the curtain was removed as Gojo was waiting for them outside.
"Congratulations Inumaki and Maki for exorcising a semi grade 2 curse" Gojo announced happily, very proud of his students.
He learned that even Maki could get pretty crazy.
Even though Maki was irritated she felt a bit prideful about being recognised by Gojo and Toge.
'Idiot, don't be happy just because you are recognised a bit' she reprimanded herself as she heard Gojo continue.
"For celebrating this successful exorcism, let's go to a sauna" Gojo announced excitedly.
"What about Panda and Amon?" Maki asked.
"Salmon" Inumaki interjected.
"Don't worry, they have already exorcized their curse. They will directly come to the Sauna"
...
"Wow panda, you are pretty cool" Amon said as he saw Panda transform back into his normal mode from his Gorilla mode.
He didn't do anything in this exorcism as the curses were fully exorcised by Panda. They had encountered two grade three curses in their encounter.
Panda was powerful enough as he handled both of them alone and Amon practically didn't do anything. He even has hidden modes.
One of his modes, Gorilla mode increases his already high strength and endurance even higher but at the cost of constantly draining cursed energy.
"Haha don't praise me too much, I am very shy" Panda said while rubbing the back of his head with his paws.
At this time Amon's phone made a sound as a message came. Amon gazed at the screen and saw the contents of the message.
"Let's go, Gojo sensei wants us to come to a Sauna"

The first-year students returned to the school after refreshing in Sauna and eating lunch. Gojo had left midway because he was going on a business trip.
The first-year students returned to their dorms tired, after their first practical session.
...
"Gojo, what do you think of this year's students?" Principal Yaga asked Gojo. They were now present in a dark room with only candles providing a source of light.
Principal Yaga was surrounded by many cute puppets. Don't be fooled by their appearance as they were all cursed corpses.
"This year's student's all have great potential, especially Amon and Toge" Gojo answered.
"Is Panda doing okay?"
"Aww~Is principal Yaga worried about his little son? Don't worry, he is doing very fine. He also gets along very well with Amon" Gojo answered as he teased Yaga.
Principal Yaga nodded his head. He had known about Amon from Gojo long ago. It was pretty rare for Gojo Satoru to praise someone genuinely and Amon was one of them.
Yaga had not met and conversed with Amon personally and only heard about him from Gojo.
He didn't know why but he had a weird feeling about this Amon. This was different yet the same feeling he had about Geto during his later years in Jujutsu tech.
He hoped another situation like Geto will not occur again. As Yaga was thinking this he heard Gojo speak again.
"One more thing principal, I want you to promote Maki's grade. At least promote her to grade 3 sorcerer" Gojo asked.
"You know I can't do anything about that Gojo. The top brass from the Zenin clan will never allow that" Yaga said as he was really helpless about this matter.
"Those narrow-minded bastards, always caring about cursed techniques and cursed energy" Gojo said irritated as exited the room after saying his goodbye to Principal Yaga.
'It's going to be a very long week' Gojo thought. He was going on a business trip and will not be back for at least a week.

"Did you hear the news? Your sister has exorcized a semi grade two curse with the help of another first-year" a petite blond-haired girl said to another girl.
"Oh, that weakling has grown enough to exorcize a semi grade two curse" another girl replied in an arrogant tone. She had mid-length black hair that reaches to her neck and dark eyes. She was somewhat similar to Maki. She spoke again.
"But as a person who can't even see curses, she will forever be a grade four sorcerer" the girl said to her companion.
...
"Oh, that wastrel has even exorcized a semi grade two curse" a person said in a plain tone but one that held authority. He was a tall man with a roman nose and hair made into a high ponytail. He was the father of Maki and Mai, Ogi Zenin.
"Yes master" a servant kneeled before him.
"Hmph, she must have had the help of the kid from the Inumaki family as she had no hope of even exorcizing a grade three curse alone" the man said. The servant didn't reply anything and just lowered his head.
