"So Hanami died, huh. A shame."
"Its because of you!! Your plan failed miserably! Now Hanami is dead." Jogo screamed at Kenjaku angered by his comrades death.
But Kenjaku shrugged, not putting the slightest pity or pint of sadness to the news. "I am the one who said that going there was a risk of death, we could not risk having two of you there so I suggested to cause chaos for a bit and leave right after. Gojo Satoru was there after all, and fighting him would mean either your death or narrowed escape at life. Though I am surprised at the information that we got, it was quite unexpected."
The flames on Jogo's head burned hotter due to his anger. "Hmph! That info isn't important, what really is important is how to trap Gojo not some random sorcerer."
"Yes, and that random sorcerer somehow managed to beat Hanami."
Mahito walked behind Jogo and held his shoulder while smiling. "Now now Jogo, it's true that Geto didn't give us the right info but he's losing out too. Now our chances to seal Gojo is slimmer than before. Do you have any plans to fix that?"
"I will let Uraume join in instead of Hanami. The plan is still the same despite the changes. Stall Gojo and force him into a tight position then I will seal him with the Prison Realm."
Though the plan was still going as followed, his eyes narrowed down. 'Hm... so he is able to turn off his Heavenly Pacts at will. You are indeed a threat Isao Arai. I guess I need to make more precautions to eliminate you at Shibuya.'
"Still the mission was successful, we have the 'Special-Grade Cursed Object- Ryomen Sukuna'. The six of them that were stored which brings the total we have to 10. And the 'Special-Grade Cursed Object- Cursed Womb: Death Paintings' one to three. Now all that's left, is too get rid of some flies until Shibuya."
He turned to Mahito.
"Mahito, can you come with me. We have to get rid of a certain shut-in."
"That would be my pleasure."

Back at Jujutsu Tech-
"Human casualties are as follows. Three grade-2 sorcerers, one semi-grade 1 sorcerer, 5 managers and two storage attendants. All of them died with the same side-effects that the curse Nanami fought had so it is confirmed that it is him. It has also been confirmed that the semi-grade 1 sorcerer, Kokichi Muta has been in contact with the assailants and has been on the run. We lost traces of him and his location is unknown." Ijichi said as he read the report in hands.
Utahime covered her face in shame at the fact that her own student betrayed them. "I'm sorry, it is my fault. I should of seen through his intentions to be in cahoots with the enemy."
"It's not your fault, frankly nobody thought a student would be one who attacks another." Principal Yaga said.
"What could of made him make the decision to betray us?" Utahime pondered over this, as his teacher, she did notice he was a bit distant but thought it was because if his Heavenly Pact. Not because he was going to betray them.
"It's obvious, isn't it?" Arai said garnering their attention. "A kid that was disabled and trapped all his life with nothing to help him. There's one thing and one thing only that can influence him. His desire to get rid of those restrictions."
"You mean-"
"Yeah, his Heavenly Pact. There's someone out there with something to change his pact."
"But I thought only you could do something like that." Utahime was puzzled over this.
"Even I can't change a Heavenly Pact completely, I can change it temporarily by using my technique and entering their innate domain, their soul but not forever. That's something even I can't do, not without consequences." Arai said before looking at Gojo.
"Nanami told me something interesting on the phone before. A cursed spirit he fought with Sukuna's vessel had the ability to change one's soul, forming the soul and changing the body into whatever grotesque idea its imagination can conjure. Pacts are tied to one's body, the body is the soul and the soul is the body. So with that logic, that would mean that changing the soul would change the body."
"So you're saying this cursed spirit managed to change the soul of Kokichi making it so that he will have a normal body."
"Exactly." Arai nodded. "But I've known the kid for a bit, whenever I go to Kyoto I meet up with him to relieve the pacts so that he can have normal skin and go outside. And the last time I did this, it was right when I came to Tokyo. That was a week ago. The kid I know is cautious, rough but nice. I read the pacts in his body and there was nothing other than his Heavenly Pact. So that means he must of made a pact after we meet. Any idea on when Utahime?"
"Hhm, he said he was not going to see us because he was preparing for the festival. I found nothing odd about this since it was reasonable but I think that's when he left school and gone outside. Where he met up with the assailants."
Everyone had gone quiet, their speculations made them sure that it was the truth. It all aligned together and made them firm on their actions from now on. Jujutsu Tech had to take down the assailants. Multiple students had been injured and would take weeks to recover. Staff and workers had died because of this and they lost multiple special grade cursed objects. Their loss were too heavy this time.
Their second course of action was to track down Kokichi and question him. He needed to be punished for his crimes, because of him their enemy now had intel on them and made them vulnerable.
"Are you going to join in on tracking him down, Arai?" Principal Yaga asked.
"Yeah, it's kind of my responsibility since I wasn't able to help him enough." Arai said. "We'll track him down and bring him in for questioning. He'll pay for his crimes."

That statement never came true.
22nd October 2018-
There Arai was on a once modern bridge now torn to smithereens. He was nearby a small lake with little to no infrastructure near him.
Looking around him, he could see the trace of a large scale battle here. Trees being toppled, flooding due to the lake being diverted, entire formations of rocks now gone. This place was quite liked among the locals but now it is gone.
And Arai was staring at the man responsible.
Or at least the remains of him.
A giant robot that could dwarf most buildings was crashed face first on the bridge. It resembled the design Kokichi had made for his Mechamaru. This was a large version of it, no doubt it was his as he felt the distinct cursed energy that Kokichi had. Add the fact that his Heavenly Pact was still visible in Arai's eyes, it was undoubtedly Kokichi Muta.
Arai stared coldly at the head, having been torn open. Inside the cockpit, it was a mess.
Intestines, eyes, skin, bones, muscles. Everything that a human had, it was there. Splattered everywhere as if the body exploded. It was no doubt from the student he had been tracking down.
Kokichi Muta.
Having betrayed his classmates and friends now ending up as a pile of blood on the ground in his beloved puppet. All his hard work, all the struggle for 17 years, ended in the blink of an eye.
With one wrong decision, he had now perished.
"Never trust a cursed spirit." Arai muttered to no one in particular before closing his eyes and hanging his head low.
"Never."
