Chapter 35: Victims

(EVANS POV)

She circled around me while eyeing me sharply.

"You are talented. And interesting, intriguing. You are smart seeing as you could escape my skilled men. You are-" She put a hand under my chin and made me look at her in the eyes. "Handsome.... You are everything I wanted in a son. You are the polar opposite of Aaron, you are complementing each other, in a way completing each others existence."

She was acting very strangely now. And I honestly was afraid of what she would say next.

"I can see why my son would be interested in you." She leaned in closely to my ear and whispered "He was always intrigued by broken souls."

I pushed her away by her shoulders.

"Just get to the point woman." She laughed at my straight forward response and said "Yes.... I can really see you fit in..." Her voice got quieter at the end, almost as if thinking about it.

"I don't understand.." I said calmly. Cause I was about to snap if she kept on taunting me.
