Chapter 2: TakeOver
Belle Reve Penitentiary, Louisiana, August 20th, 02:46 CDT
It was morning as the attack with the League of Shadows and well, Amanda army. Amanda hid in a secure bunker with Willie tied up. While, the squad fought their way true the army.
"Attention." The voice of Amanda Waller came on over the speakers. "This is not a drill. We are under attack by unknown forces. All personnel move to secure prisoners and defend against hostiles. I repeat all personnel move to-"
The speakers cut off and lights shut off. Darkness overtook the Prison. Strange to think that anyone of the prisoners could jump Waller now and escape, but none did. Curious that none tried it. The backup generators activated turning on scarlet red lights.
Deadshot led the way as the guards rushed through the halls towards the commotion. They reached the outer perimeter of the prison to see tons of guards firing against tons of black vans and trucks parked near the fences. A huge truck came barreling through the fences as the squad reached the area. The figures in black followed close behind. Deadshot Widened his eyes as he recognized the group leading the charge, it was the League of Shadows. And Lex Luthor his former employer. Were they here for him and the others captured? If so, they would be in for a surprise when Floyd would begin shooting at them. Then Lex Luthor would have him killed for sure.
He looked through his eye-piece seeing a hooded-figure carrying bow and arrows on his hands, it was Merlyn.
Merlyn ran up firing arrows at the guards. The first arrow rolled in and exploded at the guards. Their bodies flew through the air and the Shadows advanced towards the walls. Deadshot backed away towards the door, but Killer Croc held him back.
"Come on Deadshot, afraid of some hooded guy with arrows?" Boomerang mocked him as he raised his wrist-canons.
"Yes, I am." Floyd shots a look at Boomerang. "And you should be too "
"Ha! You're funnier than the Joker was! Let's take this assholes down." Katana grinned at the rest of the squad, "Or else Waller will have our heads splattered on the wall."
Deadshot gritted his teeth together, Katana was right. Waller will kill him if he ran away. He had no choice but to face Merlyn head on.
The squad ran forward. Killer Croc slammed assassins back as they ran at them. Deadshot after Merlyn knowing his skills.
"Hey! Merlyn." Deadshot grinned as he fired at the hooded-figure. "Suprised?"
Merlyn said nothing and fired arrows back at Deadshot. He quickly reached out and grabbed an explosion arrow with a swift move. He fired the arrow but Deadshot dodged the attack causing the arrow to explode.
"Gotcha!" Deadshot grinned and fired at them as they tumbled away. He looked over as Killer Croc smashed an assassin into the ground. Harley smashed an assassin using her bat. Katana went after for the rest of the assassins while Captain Boomerang threw his explosive boomerangs at the assassins.
Deadshot jumped back along with Boomerang as Deathstroke swung his sword again. He raised his wrist-canons firing, but Clayface leaped in front of Deathstroke shielding him. Solomon Grundy slammed into Killer Croc causing two to brawl. Atomic skull fired at Harley and Katana while Deathstroke continued his assault on Boomerang and Deadshot. Deadshot looked over as Merlin ran towards him. He fired both his wrist-canons at Deathstroke and Merlyn. The bullets bounced off Deathstroke's armor and Merlin was tackled to the ground by Boomerang.
Deathstroke ran forward and Deadshot fired at his feet. Deathstroke leaped at him with his sword out, but Deadshot reached forward hitting the sword from his grasp.
Deathstroke landed and the two engaged in hand-to-hand combat. Deadshot threw a punch at Slade's chest, but Slade slid to the side and knocked Deadshot off his feet.
"Sorry! Floyd, you've lost your touch." Slade grinned in his mask, Floyd could tell.
"That's what you think Slade." Floyd replied firing at him with his wrist-canons. Slade rolled to the side grabbing his swords and drove it towards Floyd. Floyd rolled backwards and went on one knee firing at Slade.
Floyd kept firing until he noticed something on his feet. He looked down and Widened his eyes as Clayface rose up engulfing him in his body. Floyd felt himself losing air, but he slowly tightened his fist and fired inside Clayface. It worked and Clayface spat Floyd onto the ground. He felt himself losing energy and strength quickly, he looked over to see Boomerang on the ground. Merlyn stood above him with an arrow ready to fire, within minutes Katana tacks Merlyn to the side helping Boomerang up. Deadshot widened his eyes as Deathstroke raised his sword into the air. Before he could bring it down on Deadshot and smacked away. Deadshot felt hands picking him up, it was Killer Croc. Harley and Killer Croc moved with Deadshot away from the assassin's. Deadshot felt his pride leaving him as they retreated.
"Waller! This is Harley! We need to retreat. Deadshot has been incapacitated and we can't continue this!"
"Meet me at the copper hanger--" Waller reports as the comm cut's off.
-Time flies-
Waller stood with two bodyguards at her side while Willie was tied and placed into the Helicopter. Killer Croc came running with Floyd on his arms while the squad was right at his back.
Suddenly, a figure came flying towards them as the guards fired at the figure who pulled out a flamethrower. There was a Villain who flies and uses a flamethrower- Firefly.
"Firefly!" Boomerang yelled throwing boomerangs at the flying bug.
"Nice to see you, Floyd! Too bad I have to kill you." He smirks pulling out two grenade and throws it at the Croc.
Killer Croc slid to the side and moved Floyd to a corner on the rooftop; as the grenade explodes in front of the bodyguards, Waller widens her eyes as the masked bug stood above her with the flamethrower on her head, Amanda looked over at the Croc with her eyes peel; the sound of the explosion rang in her ears as she looked up again staring at the Villain again.
