Chapter 2: Rakuta and Gold Alchemists

Kaja always obeyed his grandfather, no matter what. To him, Grandpa Noran was very fond of him. Kaja also never asked anything about all the things he had to do. Including, everything Noran's grandfather said about the punishment he had to serve. Only less because it was a few strokes late.

His punishment was well done.

"37, 38, 39, 40, 41!"

Kaja continued to do Push Ups, even 100. Kaja continued running around the field in front of his hut. The land area is about five thousand square meters, and he also has to complete his run 100 times. Kaja was used to it and her running was very regular, she was sweating but no longer tired or draining her energy. His stamina has been very consistent.

Noran who was his grandfather looked occasionally and smiled from the door.

Even after 100 laps, Kaja's athletic body was drenched in sweat. He also washed his face with a cloth and his grandfather was near him.

"Let's go!"

"Yes, Grandpa."

Kaja's routine activities with her grandfather, around 15.00 they will go to the forest. Noran would teach Kaja about plant characteristics, plant ingredients, and poisons, all things. Potions, herbs, everything Kaja had studied well.

Kaja realized that his grandfather was an extraordinary healer or alchemist. Kaja when he is sick, by taking medicine from his grandfather, will immediately feel better and recover. During his time with Noran's brother, Kaja knew that his grandfather had never healed anyone but himself. Also, heals injured animals.

Grandpa Noran is very good at healing. But strangely, Noran did not heal humans as a practice. Noran taught Kaja to treat every animal that was injured, whether it was sick from a hunter's wound, fighting with other animals, congenital disease, or even other injuries.

Noran's treatment was very effective, Kaja had never seen an animal that did not recover regardless of the disease. Kaja was also taught all the ways to treat animals.

While teaching the healing herbal mixture, the roaring sound was so loud.

AUUMMM! AAUUMMM! AUUMMM!!!

The screaming beast was like a beast. If so then it was suitable as practice material for Kaja to study and his grandfather would teach Arya to treat injured animals.

"Move!" Noran asked Kaja to hurry to follow him, not far from there, there was a large animal the size of an adult elephant. Kaja widened her eyes, That! It! Is …

Rakuta, Soul Beast, Heaven Beast, or even called Demon Beast.

Rakuta is an animal that grows up with a life that has lived a long year. They store too much and too long-life energy. Rakuta is incarnations of Animals that live long and they change by evolving from their original form. They possessed great strength and they were also targeted to be absorbed by their power.

This is the first time Kaja has seen Rakuta, they are animals that can survive longer than ordinary animals. They experience the length of life, the grace makes them strong. But unfortunately, behind that humans seek their power, and make humans have more power for their greed and ambition.

Rakuta was a big, winged lion, he was injured and looked exhausted. The three people around him had already died to corpses, it looked like he had fought it out.

Noran had Kaja behind him and approached the Rakuta, slowly approaching the huge creature. It seemed that Winged Lion type Rakuta just saw them approaching and just sighed. The wound was very serious.

"Poison!"

"Did he get poisoned, Grandpa?"

"Yes!"

Noran and Kaja approached the Rakuta, very close. Noran is very careful, Rakuta is a Soul animal with great strength and if angry it is very dangerous. However, Noran saw that Rakuta's legs looked dark blue and the rest, all pale and frozen blue.

"Big Cobra Poison. Very deadly poison. If it's not helped, this Rakuta won't last more than two hours, and it's been an hour since the poison spread."

Kaja listened carefully to what his grandfather said, it seemed the poison was indeed deadly. Big Cobra itself is a Rakuta type of Cobra whose venom is released by spitting water from its mouth, the affected will experience death for up to two hours and eventually die.

If it wasn't a great Alchemist, surely the one who got hit by the Big Cobra poison would meet his death.

"HUMAN…, listen to me."

Kaja was surprised to hear Rakuta's voice, but his grandfather Noran didn't seem to budge.

"Man …"

"You called me?" Kaja looked into Rakuta's sad eyes the winged lion.

Noran looked surprised to see his grandson, "Who are you talking to, maybe..." His eyes widened.

"You can hear me, I am Bajra. My life doesn't seem long, humans are always chasing me. I was paralyzed by a deadly poison, humans have always wanted our power."

"I heard Grandpa's voice," Kaja explained to his Grandpa, that Rakuta was called Bajra and had been poisoned with arrows.

Noran patted Kaja's shoulder, "This is fate, heal him I will guide you through it."

Kaja nodded.

"My grandfather and I will try to heal you. So calm down."

Bajra gave up.

Kaja had learned a lot, she took Grass and materials to stop the circulation of poison. Kaja took a knife to rip Rakuta's leg that looked poisoned, smeared the impact potion, and tied it so that the poison wouldn't spread.

Noran looked at his grandson, "Kaja, it's your turn. I will only guide you, I will teach you the Heavenly Medicine Supreme Technique."

"Put your hand on Rakuta's poisoned Leg," Noran ordered Kaja.

"Feel all the blood flow and body cells. Use full concentration and unify your mind, enter the area where the movement of the poison hit Rakuta, and give it a try."

Kaja followed what his grandfather said, silent and feeling all the movements inside Rakuta. A miracle happened, inside Kaja's mind seemed to shine. He felt any movement in Rakuta's body, in as much detail as possible. Concentrating more, Rakuta's body seemed translucent and he saw all the cells and blood streams, saw the bones lined with nerves, saw the slowly spreading poison lumps.

Noran himself was shocked to see that, This Child Rank has already reached the Gold Alchemist intermediate level?

"Kaja concentrate your energy, force all the poisonous mist out through the wound you tore earlier, let it all out"

Kaja nodded, he raised both hands, sweat started to pour out, concentration and poison shards he pushed with his energy, little by little until clean and black blood came out from the wound that was scratched earlier.

Kaja tired.

"Finally, use the Spirit Recovery Cell," Noran became curious and wanted to see his grandson's abilities. In the past, he could perform Cell Recovery after he was 25 years old.

Sure enough, Kaja slowly did it. Torn scars under Kaja's control, Cell Recovery is total healing of wounds and makes cell regeneration fantastically fast, uniting damaged cells, and replacing them with new cells in no time. Rakuta's wound was completely healed as if there had never been a wound. Noran couldn't help but chuckle in admiration in his heart, Amazing!

"Thank you, Human, What's your name?" Rakuta stood up proudly.

"Kaja. And this is my grandfather, Noran."

Bajra the Rakuta said goodbye, one day he would return the favor to Kaja and Kaja smiled at him.

It was getting close to evening, Noran, who had been teaching for a while again about the treatment of distilling herbs to classifying each plant. Noran took Kaja home, it was quite a tiring day for Kaja, his energy had been exhausted but he looked happy to be able to treat the Rakuta named Bajra. He knew Rakuta was not a devil like many people talked about. It was humans who could be called demons for hunting Rakuta to gain great power.
