Chapter 3: 3.Loot Everything
As it was almost night time, I freshened up and changed my clothes into Ninja clothes and wore Kakashi face mask. I also like wearing this mask on Ninja missions.
I then left the house and checked the surroundings. Everything was silent and peaceful. I then made my way outside towards Namikaze compound.
It was easy navigating myself as I had all of Kakashi's memory and experience. I slowly made my way and found Minato's house. I once again searched for anyone and as nobody was there, I made my way into the house.
Once I was inside the house, I felt sad as I had rekindled Kakashi's memory and also I was sad after watching Kushina's last words for Naruto in the anime. I then remembered Hiruzen's promise in taking care of Naruto and laughed.
"Don't worry guys. I promise I'll take care of Naruto with all my heart". I murmured. Suddenly I felt some pain and blue chakra exited my body and replaced it with pure white chakra.
'So, Kakashi's soul finally let go of the body' I thought and noticed that my chakra reserves increased drastically. But I didn't have much time so I put it on the back of my mind and proceeded to do my work here.
I went to the underground room of Minato and opened the doors by unlocking the seals. As Kakashi had seen Minato do it using the sharingan, he had copied it. I then opened the door and looked inside.
Inside was typically a library just like what I remembered from Kakashi's memory. There were a lot of scrolls and books of various jutsus and also information on various villages and problems in the village.
I looked for Kushina's storage scrolls and found many of them. There were many of them. Some were full with kunai's, shuriken and paper bombs. And others were empty.
Kushina had a hobby of making paper bombs when she was free. I kept all the storage scrolls in a bag and started taking everything else. I found Minato's research on flying thunder god and the modified version of it and also his research on other jutsus.
He must not have thought that he would die. Otherwise he wouldn't keep these stuff lying in this room for others to loot. Anyway, it's helpful for ma and I prevented others like Danzo from taking all these stuff.
While storing everything, I also found a lot of money. I was in no need of money because Sakumo had a lot of savings and also Kakashi had earned a lot which he saved and didn't use for anything.
But anyway I stored all the money in a storage scroll as well. It might come in handy when I have to feed Naruto later. It took me 30mins to loot everything from here.
As I had Kakashi's skills and he was already a Jonin, I easily erased my tracks and left the house stealthily. I then searched for anyone watching. Finding no one, I made my way back to my house.
I locked the door and hid everything inside the house, then went to sleep thinking about the funeral tomorrow and also planning how to meet Gai and train with him.
The next morning, I woke up, took bath and got dressed in black. I then made my way to the graveyard. There were already many people there waiting for Hiruzen and mourning the losses of many of their friends and family.
I too went into the crowd making a sad face and stood there. Hiruzen came after some time and made his speech. After that, the funeral started. There were mixed feelings among the crowd, but everyone was equally sad.
I couldn't find Danzo anywhere even after I looked carefully. I just shook my head and got out of my thoughts. Then after a while, people started leaving the place.
Suddenly I heard a old man's voice "How are you doing Kakashi?" I turned around to see Hiruzen in his Hokage outfit walking towards me. I lowered my head and replied "I'm doing ok Hokage Sama".
Hiruzen smiled and said "It's good to hear that Kakashi. Minato was a great man. I hope you can get out from the sadness and move forward taking on his footsteps. I just nodded and said "Yes Hokage Sama". Hiruzen also nodded and left.
I shook my head at this manipulative old man and went out of the graveyard. As I was walking, I saw a kid with a bowl haircut wearing green spandex coming up to me. 'Great. I don't need to find him anymore.' I thought.
Gai approached me and gave his signature smile asking "I'm sorry about your sensei. Are you all right Kakashi?" I smiled at him and replied "It's fine Gai. I'm ok. Now I was looking for you".
Gai surprised asked "Why were you looking for my YOUTHFUL self Kakashi? Do you need something from me? Just tell me. I'll help you with anything." I smiled again seeing a true friend and said "Follow me".
Gai nodded and followed me. We both ran for a while and entered the forest of death. I then spoke "Gai, I let everyone close to me die because I was not strong enough to save them. I don't want it to happen again. So will you help me train?"
Gai was surprised by my words and said with a smile and thumbs up pose "OF COURSE MY YOUTHFUL RIVAL. I'LL DEFINITELY HELP YOU. LETS TRAIN TOGETHER FROM NOW ON". I nodded with another smile. "Then let's train Gai".
Gai then yelled "OK KAKASHI MY RIVAL. LETS START. LETS RUN AROUND THE VILLAGE FOR 10LAPS AND THEN DO 1000PUSHUPS." I shook my head "No Gai. I'm not ready to r such intense training. Just give me a diet plan and tell me how to improve my physique.
Gai nodded and took out a piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to me after writing something on it. I took the paper from him and read it. It was a list of herbs and food I need to consume for every meal. I kept the paper inside my pocket and then started doing small exercises, while Gai did his usual push-ups.
Time went by like this. Everyday I woke up early and trained with Gai the whole day doing Nothing else.
