Chapter 1: Ch 1 Karen the misfit
Karen was a little girl. She lived at Brookfield with her mother and father. She found a cute little horse in the woods. It had flocks of white hair and a bushy tail. It was so mesmerizing to see the white horse which was flying in the moonlit sky with its' shiny golden feathers, but one thing was missing in the horse's face which was joy and happiness. Instead of enjoying the flight the horse was just thinking about something else, something pretty bad. It was even clearly confused when it didn't know which way to fly. Karen who seemed to be noticing this became gutted by the fact that the horse was not really there uplifted by happiness and that it seemed that it lacked something pretty much not food and water but friends and family. Karen adopted the horse and took it to her house where it seemed to be teeming with happiness as if it has met it's old friends and family. The horse was named as Pegasus.
Karen was pretty much elated by the good deed she has done now but Karen herself has no friends and was named as a weirdo at school. She was so kind and she helped everyone in need but no one ever became her friend. One day evening her neighbour Delphi morphine came to play with Karen . " Can you come to play with me Karen?". "Wait a sec I'll ask my mum, Mum can I go for play with Delphi ". Sorry dear not today I guess". Here's Karen has to say about this sentence her mum repeats everyday to her "Delphi is so fascinating and beautiful I wanna be a friend to her , when she says this One day when her mother was applying her face mask she thought that her mother was out of earshot and repeated this phrase. Unfortunately due to her bad luck she gets caught by her mother and her mother replies "Not everything that glitters is gold Karen " Jus' because yer friend's gorgeous in her look that doesn't mean that she is a nice person I saw her telling awful things about you to everyone in our colony that you betrayed her on that day when you went to papa jones. See she is evil, malicious and arrogant just like her family. Here are her records of mischief noted by her class teacher Mrs. Drittle fetila . When Karen saw it she realised that she made a mistake by trying to make friends with a wrong attitude and a bad path. The next day when she came to ask Karen whether her mum would allow her to play with her today Karen with a straight face told her " You're evil jus' because you are minted it doesn't mean that I am skint. I am what I am and will continue to be what I want to . I knew that you were the one who started with the weirdo matter Lily told me yesterday everything about it
You did nothing to me still I loved you dearly. Really You are the one who betrayed me and I still didn't care about it but you are created such a fuss that I am the one who acts weird just because I don' have friends just remember I will never let you do this to anyone else . She sobbed and walked past Delphi. Delphi was just the way she was as wicked, malicious and malignant just like the way everyone thought she would be.
