Chapter 1: Chapter 1 And so our story begins.
"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Grandpa Happy birthday to you." Sang Tom Riddle's family. (No not that Tom Riddle)
"Thank you everyone." said Tom Then taking a deep breath he blew out the candle shaped in the number 80. Silently making the wish he made every time he blew out the candles, 'May my family be safe and happy.'
"Grandpa, open your presents from us!" shouted his youngest grandson Harry. "Alright." laughed Tom opening his small pile of hand wrapped gifts. "so which One should I start with?" "This one" his eldest daughter Dorothy handed to him a small box wrapped in a forest background paper. "Ok" he begins to unwrap the package, within he sees the Entire boxset of The story of Harry Potter. Laughing Tom begins to open the other boxes revealing Comics with the Riddler in it, Books of Riddles, until finally a shirt that said. "All Hail the Dark Lord" showing a picture of Dumbledore.
"What wonderful gifts. Who wants to start watching the movies?" said Tom. His Grandchildren shouted in glee and ran to the game room. As the first chord of the classic song went he turned to his children and asked, " As funny as that was, what is with you kids getting me these themed gifts this year? Don't get me wrong I Love the gifts it's just this years looks kinda pricey."
Matthew his eldest son cleared his throat and said, "Dad it's been half a year since mom passed and we wanted to make sure you had things we know would cheer you up, especially-" Interrupting him, Tom's second daughter Elizabeth said, "We know you've been changed will and that you're selling the house. What we want to know is what you are planning? We love you and are worried."
After pausing to gather his thoughts, Tom replied "When Lois was taken from me I realized I don't have much time left in this world and I wanted to make a difference before I left. I planned on passing on my various assets that we accumulated over the years to you 3 and then go on a grand tour of places Lois and I meant to go to before Pandemic robbed us of that opportunity. I intend to at least fulfill some of those dreams we shared."
"Why didn't you tell us." said Dorothy. Tom replied "I'm not young anymore, it's hard to get up in the morning, it's hard to see without glasses, hard to hear without aid, hard to eat like I used to when I was young. You children have lives to live, kids to raise, jobs to work. I will not be a burden to my kids, no I will not."
During that pause they hear, "You're a' wizard Harry." Tom's grandkid Harry squeals in delight.
Dorothy "Alright I understand what you want, I just want you to know that we love you." With that they spend a little time going over the details of what Tom has to do before going on his grand tour of the world. They then spend the rest of the day with the grandkids, watching the first movie, reading some riddles, playing some boardgames, then it's time for everyone to go. After hugging everyone goodnight, Tom begins the cleanup process when he hears a ding.

Upon hearing that Tom checks his hearing aid, which seems to be fine so after cleaning up he heads to bed thinking, 'What was that? I better not be getting Dementia.

[Skills are expertise or talent needed to complete a task, without said skill the task would become difficult or impossible to do. As skills and abilities are impacted by condition and stats your skill ranks have been reduced by 1 level. Also due to age unused skills have been lost when system installed. Going over current skills; Cooking the knowledge of food preparation, Maintenance the knowledge to fix and preserve objects, Marine Martial Arts the knowledge of close combat techniques gained from being in the marines, Shooting knowledge of firearms and the use of them, Mathematics the knowledge of math and the uses of it in every scenario, Basic Languages the knowledge of communication between two or more individuals. [Any Skill can be relearned even after deletion. The system will not list or compensate for deleted skills due to the fact that they had degraded from lack of use. Perks are permanent powerups that can be gained through an achievement, mutation, evolution, or faith based boon. [Achievements are when a user meets specific requirements of the system or universe he inhabits that give Perks, Abilities, Equipment, Reputation/Karma gain/loss, and various items with varying grades of rarity. Current Achievements; Family Man have a spouse and conceive a child together rewards +2 in Constitution and Charisma, Survivor survive through more than 1 tragedy gain +2 to Constitution and the Stoic Perk. 'What is Corpse Absorption? I mean that seams a very dark power.'
[Correct that is why it has been twinned up with the Karma System If Karma reaches a certain level of Negativity the system will be removed from user and all gained benefits will be removed due to previous users causing mass genocide for the powers that they could absorb. Limitations of corpse absorption also implemented to minimize user misuse like absorbing dinosaur powers from a fossil or ancient secrets from a mummy. The Limitations are corpse must have died in the last 24 hours and length of corpse application is based on stat levels ex. absorbing someone with similar stats an hour, Dumbledore a month, etc.]
'Ouch sounds rough, Still don't understand corpse absorption.'
[The ability to absorb the entirety of a corpse and add to your own stats, skills, abilities,and perks. Equipment and items will be looted or dropped based on quality vs. users want/need for them ex. basic magic wand vs. a rare grimoire that does the same thing, but better.]
'What counts as a corpse?'
[Body functions cease without possibility of revival. Can absorb body parts or objects that held sentience although stat gains will be only related to body part or object, Ex. Frodo's ring ringer will give stat boost in ring finger only, the computer parts from exploded Arnim Zola will only get you knowledge and skills related to computers.]
'What is this about rebirth?'
[When user is reborn a new world is chosen, then before placement user can use Karma to position himself/herself in the new world they enter, choosing the character they inhabit, to the changes they want to said character usually in some way improving character they inhabit starting situation. Next step of tutorial ready, find and absorb a corpse rewards will activate once complete.]
