Chapter 4: Manipulation at its finest.

[Kei Uzumaki's POV 1 day after last chapter's events]

I found myself outside of the orphanage wondering the streets of the village so as to get used to them. And also head towards the training grounds so I can try and get the Henge no Jutsu from someone. Well, it's more like manipulating someone into teaching me.

I started getting used to the crowds of people in the early glistening sunlight. I found that the people weren't glaring at me right now. Which meant rumours had yet to spread about me and Naruto's status as Jinchuriki.

I didn't care about that, but considering who was affected in cannon by those rumours. I couldn't help but be angered by what happened to my younger brother.

I started to jog as I decided that I had enough exploring the village for now and that I needed to get to the training fields.

[Third-person POV]

Outside on a lively, smooth, grassy terrain stood 2 teens who appeared to be training by way of sparring. One had dark brown hair with the standard shinobi outfit with a green flak jacket symbolising his Chunin or Jonin statuses. His headband was strapped to his forehead with his green eyes focused on his opponent.

The other had golden eyes with shoulder-length light brown hair. He also wore a green flak jacket and the standard shinobi outfit.

Both were in their stances, one with their arms spread outwards and the legs following the same pattern the onlooker from the bushes could identify easily 10 different areas safe to attack.

The other across from him had a typical boxer opening stance that looked more solid than the onlooker gave them credit for. To her, it was obvious that he would win this spar.

Of course, the onlooker Kei couldn't help but at least watch intrigued by seeing 2 Chunin or Jonin spar.

The boxer Shinobi moved first and rushed his opponent with calculated steps towards his opponent. With a right hook, he swung forwards towards his opponents mid section was blocked quickly. He quickly performed a straight punch from his left as he freed his other hand from green eyed grasps. Only to be kicked at his side by the green eyed teen that quickly used the moment to punch the man in the abdomen before roundhouse kicking the boxers head. But the kick got blocked as the boxer landed a Jab punch that hit the solar plexus of green eyes.

From there was the man kicking the man's right leg and then utilizing a crescent axe kick once green eyed fell to his knees that targeted the head. Knocking the man away by 5 metres.

'That was kickboxing on top of Karete or Taekwondo.' Thought Kei who was impressed seeing the man perform some advanced martial arts techniques. Of course, it never showed on her face that she was genuinely impressed, but she decided that she had seen enough for now.

[Kei Uzumaki's POV]

I moved out of the bushes, approaching the 2 men who are still fighting. Although not for much longer.

"Hey!" I called out startling one of them. The boxer martial artist seemed calm and collected as his eyes observed me.

"What's a kid doing here?" The other boy asked in a rude tone.

"I am simply here to ask something of you." I decided to start talking immediately after I spoke those words. "Can you teach me the Henge no Jutsu?" I asked inquisitively.

"What do you need it for?" He questioned, trying to fish for information from me. Luckily, I had planned for that. I just didn't expect to get here so soon.

"Are you serious, Jin! The kid looks 3!" There it is. Green eyed shouted at Jin, who was the boxer. I knew what would happen next.

"Ken, she asked us to teach her the Henge. I simply asked her reasoning behind such actions." Jin spoke calmly.

"Okay, fine. Give us your reasoning, kid." Ken said, not happy by it at all.

I then started to tear up, putting on an act of sadness as I spoke up. "The orphanage me and my brother live in. I I, " I started to stutter a little as I continued. "I overhead the adults talking they want to kick me and my brother out next week." I spoke sobbing in between the words to convince them of my act. "I I I just want the best for my brother and to do that I need the Henge to become an adult to buy an apartment and the money for it." I spoke far more resolutely there. "So please teach me the Henge." I spoke clearly this time.

The story was effective. Both of them wore pained expressions to my story, unaware that truthfully, I did not care. I don't care about these people after all. Nor do I care about Naruto at all.

At the end of the day, as long as I had my victory, nobody and nothing else matters. It doesn't matter what is sacrificed it does not matter the method because in this world, only winning matters.

All people are nothing but tools to me for that express purpose. Winning.

"Okay then, before I do what you want, how about I give you a challenge for it instead?" Jin asked perceptivel, trying to gauge how I would react to see how far I would go to protect Naruto. Unluckily for him, I have had this entire conversation planned out.

"What is this challenge?" I answered, determinedly.

"Simple. All you have to do is learn to unlock your chakra by yourself." He didn't know that I already did that at 2 years old.

"Um, not to be rude, but I already did that." I spoke still in an act.

"You have then show us if you have done it already." The teen Ken yelled. You're still here, huh? I was surprised by that.

Still doing as he said, I began to sit down on the grassy field as I took up a meditative stance and focused. As I began to search for my chakra one again. Once I found it, I started to control my chakra to make it visible, I heard the sound of a gasp.

Hearing that, I opened my eyes to face the two from before.

"She, she actually unlocked it." Ken almost sounded unsure of his words.

"Ken, I need to teach her the Jutsu now, and it might take a while, so can you train by yourself momentarily?" Jin asked Ken as he turned to face me.

Ken, for his part, said nothing and disappeared into the distance.

"Alright, so you perform the Henge like this..." I listened intently to the explanation.

In front of the man who taught me the Jutsu, I went through the handseals, starting with Dog, then to Boar finishing with Ram. I moulded the chakra with each handseal feeling the energy shift as I produced the image of what I wanted to transform into. In a poof of smoke, I felt taller and older with my Henge being completed. I looked at Jin, who appeared stunned by my transformation.

"Is the technique wrong in any way?" I asked Jin.

"No, it's a perfect Henge. I doubt Chunin will be able to identify it as such." He answered, giving me my answer to my own surprise as well.

"I see. I suppose I should get to work on mastering the technique?" I rhetorically asked, seeing as I was going to do that anyway.

"Yeah, you should make sure it becomes sealless through constant training." He looked to be thinking of something. "You know what? I think a prodigy of your level needs a teacher, and while I might not be the most qualified, should you want me to train you. I will." He vocalised his idea.

I genuinely thought about it for a moment, seeing as he offered, and a mentor could help me learn what I needed to learn faster than I myself could've done so self-taught.

The downside could alter my plans slightly had I not accounted for this new variable already. It was with that in mind that I firmly told him my answer.

"I would love to train under you."
