Chapter 193: The Stalemate

I was wet.

"You must be joking." I laid my head in my hands, groaning at my misfortune. The ache between my thighs wasn't going away and it was driving me crazier the longer I had to sit. Or stand. Or anything to do with my legs in any position that wouldn't bring my sex relief.

To distract myself, I thought over what to do.

I couldn't have a child, that much was a given. Motherhood hadn't ever been my calling as much as it had been my duty. I was expected to marry an influential Spanish man from an influential family and have influential babies, the eldest of which would inherit the mob after me.

Now all those plans had gone to absolute shit because of sheer stupidity.

It was insane.

We'd been responsible, for the most part. I was on birth control long before Marco and I had started fucking. He pulled out most times except for the times he didn't. Twice. <i>Twice</i>.

Two fucking times, both at my behest and now I was knocked up.
