Chapter 90: Duel

It was unsurprising to see Aristele defeat his opponent, but she was still overjoyed. The previous acrid taste in her mouth vanishing. She no longer was concerned with Cosette. She had given him a wide hug, pecking him on the cheek and then placing her hands against his face, caressing his hair. A white bright smile on her face. He had done brilliantly. Movements were sharp and there was not a modicum of hesitation in his movements. The blade sang in the air as Lumielle watched in excitement. Asterias sat next to the Princess, his eyes placed upon her face. Her bright gold eyes soaking in every moment.

Now, it was Leo's turn.

It made him slightly annoyed to see that Leo was basking in her utmost attention.

The blade was pointed at the contender's neck as Leo was announced the winner. A smile curved upon Lumielle's expression as she subtly clapped. She knew that Leo was good but she had never realized how amazing he was.

Truly, he was a prodigy.
