THE sky was gloomy. The wind blew at my face and I felt the cold breeze of the morning. Fiore and I sat under a full-grown tree. He didn't let go of my hand.

"I know I told you we're done, Mir. You can't blame me if I managed to flee just like that and not understand. But those were all in the past now. Let's not go back to that day and forget everything."

His explanations were repetitive. Why he left, why he came back. I should be the one explaining to him because I accidentally cheated on him. And it turned out to be real this time. I literally offered my body to his best friend last night.

"Please say something, Miranda. Aren't you glad I'm still accepting you, despite what you did? I'll still marry you even if you hooked up with my best friend? You cannot find anyone like me nowadays."
