Chapter 3: The abyss
"I hope this works", the girl said while sitting on the floor in a lotus pose.
Etella thought about magic and it's nature and figured that it would be best to make the mana in her body flow in every part for better control.
"Here goes nothing"
She started moving the mana inside her body.
To her surprise , it worked well. She moved mana towards her leg and arms. Now the part left was the brain.
The mana moves toward the brain.
Suddenly her head feels hot.
Everything feels dizzy.
Her body is filled with pain.
"Aagggh", She screams.
Her voice filled the whole mansion.
The people inside came rushing towards her room to see if she is fine. But it was already too late. She was unconscious.
They called the doctor but his analysis showed that the young lady would go in coma.
This report shocked them. Why?
What did their daughter do to get into coma?
They didn't know. All they could do now was to support her.
So they sended the unconscious Etella to a well prepared room and attached drips to her body.

(Etella Pov)
"What happened?"
Where is this place? The scenery around me changed. And the view I am now seeing is a road that leads to a castle. While there is nothing besides the road. Only darkness.
The road is the lightness.
I moved forward.
At the end of the road I could see an entrance.
So I entered it.
A lot of people with smile on their faces were coming toward me.
"Hey! Hey! look there is a new one" (guy1)
"What kinda of hero would she be?"
"Is she strong?"
"Is she wise?"
"Is she fast?"
They then came toward me and said to party with them.
They all held me high up in the air and looked happily at me.
"So what type of good deeds did you commit ? Were you a young hero? Ahh to die so young.
So what kind of hero were you? This is the resting place for us heroes that did good deeds.", they said.
"I-I am not a hero! Neither did I do any good deeds. Neither am I strong , wise." , I frankly told them the truth.
Now their faces changed.
They looked at me with disgust.
"Huh? Why are you looking at me like that?", I said.
"Tch. A useless person appeared."
They all then went away.
And some punched me for even coming here.
What did I do to you?
I never wanted to come here in the first place.
(Sobs)
I sat near the river inside the castle. and looked at myself.
My eyes were dead.
My appearance looked worn out.
Suddenly a person approached me.
"Hey! Little guy why are you crying?"
"If you want to know anything , then see YOUR FRIENDS. I Never wanted to come here in the first place. Its not my fault that they are strong.", I said.
The guy looked at me.
"Sayy no more. You are now part of my family.
I will train you so that you can become stronger. So what's your name?"
"Etella"
"That's a good name. Mine is Adventure expert Mavis."
and this is how my hell began.
They tortured me each and every day saying it's for my own good.
If I succeeded in the task they gave me , they would just throw me in the fire.
If I didn't do their tasks , they would beat me up.
This is tale of Thousand years where I became an apprentice of everyone here.
It took me thousand years to have atleast upto 50 percent of their power.

I looked back at the women aka Loli babas and the crowd.
"Etella we will miss you. Don't you lose out there brat!"
"Yeah yeah win win "
"Don't forget about us ya know"
I just smiled and looked at them and said.
"Let's never meet again you old hags."
"YOUU!! COME back here this instant"
"Stop!! Let her go its her last day here right."
"Fine"
and I just left without looking back at them.
