LAIA WOKE UP to the loud creaking of a door.

Trying her best to remain as subtle as possible when she started taking in her surroundings, Laia was surprised to realize that her hands weren't even tied nor were her legs.

Her mouth wasn't even covered by anything that would hinder her from shouting as loud as she could to attract the attention of anyone who might be passing by.

However, what confused her the most is the current scene a few meters away from her.

A man arguably the tallest man that Laia had ever encountered except for the senator was standing on the side of Amethyst who was sitting on the floor with a gun on her lap.
