Synopsis

Binding herself to a monster was the only option Lyra had to save the woman she’d started to love. Worse, as part of the bargain it was ensured that Lyra’s magic, her soul songs, are cursed and sealed. To call on them without permission will inflict horrid pain that damages her soul.

It also doesn't help that her new master is the most gorgeous and terribly striking woman Lyra has ever laid eyes on, and that she knows how to use this to break her new charge's will. Now Lyra must learn new ways to weave her magical songs into dark and agonizing melodies, else prove herself nothing more useful than a soul to be devoured.

What To Expect!

1. Reality is the dream of a dead goddess whose rotting mind can be felt at the edges of the worlds. Do not wake her up... please.

2. Tall and buff soul drinking Reavers, smexy Beholder inspired mafia types, and song wielding shapeshifting Fae.

3. Sex is in this story, and serves to illustrate emotional growth, pain, and eventually the spark of hope for our heroine.

4. Trauma! D: Lyra is young and naïve whereas her mistress is cunning and manipulative. Her affections are literally cultivated and used as tools to keep the young Fae bound to this monster's wills and whims.

5. Weekly updates, but also extra weekly updates because this writer has no self-control and needs help.

Lamentations of the Dead Dreamer is a dark adult fantasy story. It involves themes and topics of abuse (mental, physical, phycological, etc...), suicide ideation, sex, mild language things, slavery, and abandonment.

Sun Spoken Turn made me happy cry, and now this book makes me sad cry. But I’m so captivated by your stories that I can’t seem to stop reading, no matter how real the pain can feel. I have no words that satisfy my desire to express just how much I’ve enjoyed your writing. I haven’t been able to think about anything else since finding it. All I can say for sure is that if you write more I will certainly be there to read it.
