Chapter 213: Control

"I don't know," Hiro replied briefly.

After she looked at Hiro and his party members, the woman lowered her face again to stare at the musical instrument in front of her and strummed its thick strings again.

Hiro, Noah, and Jacob looked at each other questioningly. They didn't know what to do. The music was pleasant enough to their ears, and they didn't get any weird effects from hearing it. Even Hiro, who thought that the music might make him sleepy, was wrong.

Because they were too focused on the woman and the musical instrument she was playing, the three of them forgot to check Liberty and Cara who were already standing up straight. Both of their eyes had turned completely black.

"What should we do now, Hiro?" Noah asked while looking to the side, to see Hiro who was still watching the woman.

Noah was the first to notice the change in pressure behind his back. He looked back to check where the pressure was coming from.
