Chapter 2: Beginning Training

After 5 days of non-stop walking I had finally reached the base of the mountain the monastery was based on, but I felt that something was bugging me. You know, like the feeling that you remember something important but you just can't get it to click, but don't worry it was solved the moment I got to the mountains base but I was horrified when I finally got the missing piece of the puzzle.

"THE DAMNED STAIRS!!!!!!"

"huhhh...this is going to be a pain in the ass. But I better man up"

------8 hours later -------

" God finally got up all of these stairs"

I reached out to one of the brass rings on the big ass door and lifted it up about to hit it against the door, then... my whole world view started to spin and slowly turn black

"Damn... I should have rested before going up the stairs" I thought with regret. Just as I was about to blackout the monastery's gate opened and the figure of an old man walked out. It was old man Wu. Before I completely lost function I was faintly able to make out two words which would change my life forever

"Train... me"

Then I completely blacked out

-----2 minutes earlier Wu P.O.V------

I was having some tea in the courtyard. When I heard a bang coming from the main gate I thought it was the mail man because no one usually makes the journey here apart from him, but imagine my surprise when a teenager about 16 years old was at the gates and he looked pale, he was covered in sweat, his movements were unsteady and it looked like he was about to pass out at any moment, before he fell he said some words that I would barely be able to hear if I haven't been training for nearly 300 years.

Train me

But I put those words at the back of my mind and decided to attend to the boy who had just passed out before me, I carried him inside and put him in a room and brewed some healing tea giving him some once in a while. After a couple of hours his condition became stable I left him to rest while I went to meditate and contemplate what happened today then I remembered the words he said before he lost conscious to Train him.

"He must've walked a great distance to come to receive training from me only to pass out at the gates and still have the will to stay awake and ask me" I thought

I'm impressed with his perseverance and determination are great, he has great potential, maybe it's not a bad idea to train him in the art of spinjitzu

-------3 days later Alex P.O.V------

[A.N: Yes MC would be named Alex for now if you guys can give better name suggestions i'll change it. Let it be based of space though]

I slowly started to open my eyes, only to be greeted with the site of Jay's face over my own deciding to joke with him I say

"I'm flattered but I don't swing that way bro"

It took awhile for him to get what I was sayin but after he did he turned slightly red and started to slightly stutter

"Y...Yeah m...me too"

"Hey Jay where are you!!" I heard a voice from outside, probably Cole's since he's the only one that's this loud when talking

He came into the room and first noticed the flustered Jay and came closer to us.

Hey Jay... What happened to you why's your face redder than it usually is"

"It's n...nothing Cole" he quickly responded and I slightly chuckled at his response

After hearing my chuckle Cole finally realized my presence in the room but before he could ask me any questions 2 people walked into the room. One I recognized as Wu and the other I think is Zane so it's probably a few months before Kai joins them to save Nya fr...

I am quickly brought out of my thoughts when Wu ask me how I feel. Now that I realized I was much better than yesterday?2 weeks? Come to think of it I don't know how long I was out for.

"How long was I out" I asked wanting to address the main issue on my mind

"Nothing too serious about 3 days" Wu told me

I breathed a sigh of relief which did not go unnoticed.

"Why do you sigh" he asked

"I want to join your discipline great master of spinjitzu and if I had spent many months unconscious I will greatly inconvenienced you " I say while bowing

I straighten myself and look at him for an answer on the outside I look confident but on the inside I'm a mess, sweating bullets on the inside having the fear that he would not accept me. But all my troubles are alleviated with his next words.

"I accept you as my disciple"

"But you are going to go through rigorous training. Your first task is to run up and down the stairs to the monastery 50 times, Climb up the mountain 70 times and go through the obstacle course in the yard a 100 times each day you'll start from midnight to dusk, any complaints you do double as punishment, when you are unable to complete the training for the day you would complete double the task for the next day, when you get used to the training and can finish the obstacles in quarter of the time you usually do that's when I will officially start to spar with the others and myself. You start tomorrow "

My face paled at the amount of training I had to do but I did not dare open my mouth to complain knowing the punishment's that await me, I looked out of the window and notice it was somewhere around late noon so I used the remaining daylight to know the others and my surroundings.

-------Diary Entry-----

Wu true to his word came to wake me up at midnight banging his cane on a trashcan lid and pulled me out of bed, I couldn't even organize my thoughts before Wu started barking orders at me to start training. This routine continued for many weeks until I could wake up and start before Wu heck he doesn't even come to supervise me anymore but I can't blindly believe that he's probably hiding himself until I could finish all the task in 7 hours a day, that's when the true hel... I mean the true training began Wu would hit me with his cane when my form was of and beat me to a pulp during the spars, I would also fight against Cole, Jay and Zane and can proudly say I can beat all three of them but not at once, my presence has already caused a butterfly effect the other three are much better than their cannon counterparts by a large margin the months pass by then one day Wu told us that he would be leaving for a couple of days.

"The story is about to begin" I thought while closing my journal
