Chapter 55: Burnt village
Another week passed. The news of the thunderclouds that appeared in the red cloud city started to spread in other cities, then other kingdoms as well. It was rather shocking news for the people.
Queen Li Song and Deng Jiao tried to hide down the information regarding her daughter, even wall has eyes, the information leaked eventually. They might have been able to conceal the whole information if the thunder hasn't dropped on the room of Li Suxin.

Shi Tian showed a smile and said. "I guess I am a natural genius. And I told you both that you can call me by my name directly."
"I remember, but it is kind of became a habit. And we have no qualm calling you young master." Duan Mei replied.
"Still... whatsoever! By the way, what do you girls plan to do in new few days." Shi Tian knew he can't force them, he changed the subject.
"Huh, nothing special for the moment." Duan Mei said then she looked at Shi Tian curiously, "Young Master, what happened?"
"Nothing, I just kinda started feeling a little bored." Shi Tian said casually.
Duan Mei's squinted a little as she glanced at Shi Tian, "Young Master, I have a feeling you are hiding something. Tell me what is going on in your mind?"
"Nothing much, I'm not hiding something. I was thinking of going out, having a short trip to the kingdom. I just wanted to see new places." Shi Tian waved his hands and said. It was not entirely false that he was feeling a little bored. Right now, he was looking for some excitement.
He planned to lie low and cultivate regularly, but there was a slight problem with his plan, it was his slightly eccentric personality, his mood swiftly sometimes. He was the kind of person who get sometimes bored easily, and he likes trying new things.

Shi Tian walked out. It was the first time, he would be going far away from his home. He was thinking to bring Duan Mei and Xiu Ying with him, but his mother refused for some reason.
Shi Tian left the house and went toward the east direction. A town that was a little far away from the City. He was thinking of taking a carriage, eventually decided not to.
Shi Tian was a Spirit Grandmaster, his running speed was a few times faster than carriages. He would need there in three to four hours to reach a town.
Shi Tian bought a detailed map of the Red Cloud Kingdom from the city in the past, he memorized the entire map, so he wasn't worried about being lost.

As Shi Tian was passing through a forest, he noticed a big smoke in distance the forest. Shi Tian paused a moment and stare at the smoke. He started moving in the direction of smoke to calm down his curiosity. If the map was correct, this smoke should be coming from a village that should be on the other side of this small forest.
Shi Tian walking to the forest, after a few minutes later, crossing the forest, he arrived in front of a big valley where the village should be located.
"t-this..." Shi Tian was shocked when he finally saw the source of smoke, for a second he couldn't believe the scene that was in front of him.
There was a small village in front of him, but the condition of the village was very horrendous. The smoke he noticed before coming out from here.
Shi Tian hurriedly made a run into the village, when he arrived in the village, his footsteps froze in a place as he stared in front.
The village had almost been completely burned down by the flames. The street was littered with corpses and broken limbs of men, women, children. Seemed like the entire village was massacred and burnt down. He felt he was watching a horror movie right now.
The village was considered large enough to dwell at least a few hundred people. But right now, he could not see a single living soul in the village, just dead corpses everywhere. He felt heavy nausea at the moment.
Shi Tian was an ordinary teenager who comes from the modern world, never seen or experienced such a horrendous scene in his life. Seeing this scene, suddenly something triggered inside his mind. Angered towards the demons who did this to the innocent villager, towards the enemies who killed his clan members.
Without his knowledge, there were two persons in the sky who are staring at Shi Tian right now. They were none other than Xiangyue and Bingyao, they were following him secretly from the moment he left home.
