Chapter 98: AvC : Trials

The elder dragon looked up at the bright full moon. He was trying to not let any of his tears fall down. Even their clan deteriorated to such a degree where they need to hide, they were still prideful by nature.

He looked at the young man for a while.

"How could we know you are saying the truth?"

Rein was expecting this question, "Lord Dracun told me that the Dragon race would have its annual coronation for their 286th leader. If the dragon clan doesn't believe me, then I will have to convince you, no matter what. So I will join the competition and prove it to you. If you don't believe Lord Dracun, you will believed the one who the moon goddess chooses."

"…" All of the dragons went silent. 

As the young man said, they could not believe him through words. But if he proved himself in this trial, then they might believe him.

"Are you confident that you can compete with them in terms of strength, wisdom, and stamina?"
